Dinner at Topsiders?

I apologize if this has been discussed lately, but I must have missed it! With the change in dining times we anticipate eating dinner at Topsiders at least once. I remember reading at one time they were offering steaks and what sounded like a pretty nice dining experience. Is this still the case? If anyone has eaten dinner there on the Magic lately, I would love to hear about it. Only 2 more weeks!

Well, it's not lately, but as of last December it was an excellent option if you don't want to do the rotation restaurant meal.

We only tried it once, but it was really nice. There were selections from that night's menu at the rotation restaurants. We had late seating at a table of 10 on our last cruise, and several of our dining companions were always late. We were the last table to leave the dining room every night. It was actually formal night when we ate at Topsiders. We were dressed formally, but we didn't feel like waiting for the late seating. Topsiders' food and service were great. We ate at a table for two. Nice change for us. I'm glad they offer this option.

We liked this option (except they weren't as prepared as the regular dining room for vegetarian diets, BUT we worked it out).

Some people might think it is a buffet style dinner (what I thought when we went up there that night). It is actually table service too, just like the regular dining rooms.

Now that I think of it, how do those waiters get tipped? Was I suppose to tip them? I just now thought about that.

Dinner at Topsiders sounds like a real option if we are late coming back from our excursions. What are the options for dessert? Any chance of getting the chocolate souffle?
