Just wanted to post my meal at Kona last Monday. My DD and I were on our own that day. We were at Epcot and took the monorail over to MK in the afternoon. Did Fontierland (loved Tom's Sawyer's island) and some Tommorrowland. Got hungry and decided to try our luck over at Kona's. Luck was with us at they were able to take us with a 30 minute wait. We looked around and got drinks at the bar.
Lapu-lapu (sp?) for me

Non-acloholic daq. for dd

Then came the bread with macadamina butter, yum! Reba, our waitress actually gave me a spare with more butter to take home with me so Dh and other dd could taste this.

For our appetizers we had: DD Caesar salad and me the seafood chowder:

Our entrees were for DD the prime rib with mashed potatoes and for me the shrimp and scallops:

Sorry we had no room for dessert! Too much bread!

Glad to hear you liked it...we are heading there for dinner for the first time in July....cant wait.

Glad to hear that you liked Kona's, we are going for the first time in September. By the looks of the picture September can't come fast enough.

looks wonderful! Isn't the seafood chowder rich? But oh SO good.

Is the bread new? I remember more of a foccachia styule bread with oil and parmesan cheese dipping. That macadamia butter sounds devine.

Thanks for sharing!

Excellent review ~ Thanx for sharing.

We are trying Kona for the 1st time in Sept. and now I really cant wait!! Everything looks soooo good! thanks for the review.

When we were at WDW last month we only booked breakfast at Kona but looking at your yummy food, our next trip I will definately need to book a dinner there. Thanks for posting!:thumbsup2

Sounds delish! Thanks for the review. I am just starting to figure out our meals for our March trip (I know, I have a while!) and am debating between Kona, Ohana (been there and enjoyed it) and 1900 Park Fair one night.

That's the bread that I remember as well from our December 2006 trip. I really liked it. This new bread and butter sounds great, though.
