We will be in Disney in April with DD's school band. A group of girls are going to the Princess Dinner at Norway. The food did NOT appeal to a lot of the girls. So if you had to go to an all-around restaurant for everyone, Table Service at Epcot for Teenage girls, where would you choose and why?? Thanks for your help.

If they're picky and some unwilling to go for ethnic food, I'd say your best bet is probably Le Cellier. It's a steakhouse and has a decent variety of food that will look palatable to a teenager.

Coral Reef would be great if they all liked seafood; the TS in Italy is also an option (I think it's open now, not sure). Otherwise, there isn't a TS in epcot that is guaranteed to please all members of a group of American teenagers...

Of course...now that I say that, I'm not so sure Le Cellier is a great choice if you have any vegetarians on your list ;)

The France TS could be an option, I guess, but I don't like that place so I don't recommend it. :goodvibes

I don't expect to please everyone, but I figured families with picky eaters would be able to let me know where they have been able to satisfy the majority of the family. Showed DD Le Cellier and am getting info on Coral Reef. Thanks again for any help I can get.

I asked my kids ages 14 & 17, and here is their suggestions. Do NOT eat in France. Both liked the Biergarten. This is a buffet, and I seem to remember some "American dishes" as well as the German food. The also like the steakhouse in Canada, Le Cellier(sp?). They both like Coral Reef, but I think for the view, more than the food. Coral Reef can be pretty pricey, we've only ate there on the DDP. If the girls are really protesting the theme menus in Epcot you could walk over to Spoodles at BWV and have pizza. You exit by France, and it is only a 5 minute walk. Hope this helps.

That's true, eating at the Boardwalk somewhere could solve the problem. There is an ESPN Club that is likely to have something for everyone (the food is okay, about what you'd get at a Hard Rock Cafe). Pizza at Spoodles is an option, definitely.

I've not been to the Biergarten but I've heard it's fun and loud and noisy... just like teenagers ;)

Actually, the Garden Grill at the Land could be an option (it's an all-you-can-eat table service type thing) but I would definitely advise looking at the menu first. The restaurant revolves and there are characters...could be fun.

If I were going with a group of teenage girls, I would definitely go for Garden Grill. Not sure how they'll feel about the characters...but the food is definitely you all american type food. It's served family style, all you can eat. Also, for really picky eaters...you can order from the kid's menu, things like mac and cheese and french fries. And unless they've changed it since the last time I went the kids dessert is worms in dirt. Who doesn't love chocolate pudding with oreo crumbs? Just my opinion....and I'm 23.

My girlfriends and I went to WDW for our college spring break last year...so about the same age as your DD! We loved, loved, loved Coral Reef! (Our waiter was soooo cute!) And oh yeah the food was good, too! I will be going back again with my family on our upcoming trip, and we will also be trying Les Chefs de France so I will let you know about that!

I have 4 kids, ages 2-13. They love Epcot, and they love when we eat a different course in each country. It takes a while, but they have a great time!

My DD14 loves Le Cellier, Les Chefs de France and Garden Grill. Haven't been to Norway in a few years, but we'll be there in June. Biergarten was good, they had a roasted chicken (safe food) and of course the black forest cake which is why she'll say she loves Biergarten ;)

How big of a group will you have? It may be hard to get ADR's for a large group at Le Cellier. While ESPN Club has "safe" food, they don't take ADR's, so you could end up with a long wait, especially if any type of ballgame is on and people stay to watch :rolleyes1 If you're willing to walk over to the BC, Cape May Cafe has a great Clam Bake buffet that has a lot of non-seafood items. What about Japan? Do any of the girls like sushi? Eating at the hibatchi tables is a lot of fun for a group.

Biergarten would be my #1 suggestion for teens at Epcot in the World Showcase.
I have teens and often take them there, they love it. It is a buffet and the atmosphere is here is very fun (not a character experience).
The food choice is pretty good so that most will like something there.
If you have never been there the whole inside of the restaurant looks and feels like you are sitting outside on a street in a german community, it is a great atmosphere to experience at least once. We go almost every visit and have never had a bad experience with the food or service(always very friendly).
There is usually some live entertainment.
And as far as price goes... this is one of the more reasonable locations for a sit down meal.

Well DD looked at Le Cellier, Beirgarten, and the Garden Grill. She is printing out the menu's and we will make the ADR's this week. Thanks for your help. We have around 250 girls going so DD will just try to get 6 who like about the same foods. Now just say a prayer for me that I don't lose it with all the teenage girls... LOL...

Let me start off by saying that im 19, my sisters are 23 and 16. We loved the Rose and Crown Pub. The food was great. Its a place where most everyone can find something to eat. And if you get lucky, like we did, you'll get a cute server with a British accent. Can't beat that.:thumbsup2

Don't have and experience with picky teenage girls. My DD is almost 13 and will eat any type of food, its getting her to eat enough food that is the problem. Now teenage boys I know. A favorite of my two DS's, 19 and 21 is Marakesh in Morroco. They like the bellydancers. Either that or anything with a buffet so they can eat thier fill, I know a lost cause but we try. Most teenagers like things like tacos and fajitas so Mexico is another option.
