I booked a reservation for Chef Art Smith’s for 830 on Sunday night. We have MK planned that day and now the hours have been extended to 8pm (yay!). Should I keep the reservation? If so, what’s the best way to get there and how much time should I plan?
thanks!
Jana

Any extra time at MK is can be a good thing. If you're doing rope drop, that's a different story. Spending all day there can be tiresome. I think leaving MK 7:30-7:45 should allow enough time by bus.

There is no direct bus to Disney Springs. You will have to monorail over to one of the resorts and take the Disney Springs bus from there. You can also walk over to the Contemporary as well.

Are they not doing the bus to DS after 4:00 pm? I know that pre-Covid, they were doing parks to DS after 4 pm. It made it great for getting dinner at DS.

Unfortunately those buses have not been running since the reopening.

Thanks for the advice! Any opinions on restaurant...thinking about cancelling and just enjoying the extra park time. We’ll probably rope drop but might take a midday break and go back till close. It’s really only 1/2 hour but like the idea of riding one of the longer wait rides at closing time. Thoughts?

A lot of people really like Homecomin’. That said, you may be better off booking something nearer to MK, like the Wave, just to maximize park time.
