Still trying to learn all the ins and outs, so REALLY appreciate your assistance.

Can we make an ADR at Chef Mickey's for dinner and just go to the Contemporary without entering the park? We'll be going to Animal Kingdom in the morning and will only have the One park/one day tickets so wont be able to enter another park that day.

Do we have to pay for parking? Can we drive to the Contemporary and park or do we have to go to the TTC and take the monorail? (that would be fun actually) If we paid for parking at AK in the morning do we park free here?

Appreciate your help! Trying to get it all straight in my head! :confused3

You have to pay for parking but I'm not sure if they will reimburse you or not. We happened to be going to the park the day we went to Chef Mickey's. I'm sure someone else will know the answer.

If you have an ADR at Chef Mickey's, you can park at the Contemporary. The guard at the gate will probably ask what you're doing, and just tell him you have an ADR. I believe you can then park there for 3 hours. No entry into Magic Kingdom is necessary.

You don't have to pay to park at the resort - they will check your name on the reservation list and give you a 3 hour parking pass.

The Contemporary is completely seperate from the MK so no worries about the park tickets.

You won't have to pay for parking if you self-park.

If you choose to valet park, you have to pay and tip.

You only pay to park once, so just show your AK parking stub at the toll booth for the MK to go through.

When you get to the Contemporary, you'll stop at the gate and let them know you have an ADR at Chef Mickey's. They'll most likely check the list for your name, and let you through...no charge.

As a previous poster said, you'll have a time limit, but it will be more than enough for your dinner.

Have fun!

Are you staying at a Disney Resort? If so, you won't have to pay for parking at Animal Kingdom either. Resort guests do not pay for parking at any of the parks.

If you are staying at a Disney resort, take the bus and tell the bus driver you have an ADR at Chef Mickeys he will probably drop you off at the Contemporary before going to MK. If not, take the monorail once at Mk to the Contemporary. Then you will not have to worry about parking or how long you stay. We are going in December so after Chef Mickey's we are taking the monorail over to the Grand Floridian to look at the decorations!! :santa:

If your going to park at the Contemporary don't forget to stay on the right hand side of the road before and after you pass threw the Magic Kingdom toll gates, so you can drive a long the area that goes towards the Magic Kingdom Resorts. Also after you go threw the toll gates there will be a sign that says Magic Kingdom Resorts with their names and an arrow pointing right. That same sign will also say Magic Kingdom parking with another arrow pointing left.
