Dinner at Boma after Animal Kingdom... How do we get there?

Yes, cabs are always easiest resort to resort. The WDW busses do not do any resort to resort routes. I always budget a few cab rides to resort ADR's. It is still much cheaper than renting a car, and far more convenient.
I save in a special envelope over the months leading up to the trip and have my cab fares and tips all ready. This way it is painless for me.

Ok, thanks! I've never had a problem spending $$$ on cabs; I think the extra expenditure is worth it considering that it's far less stressful and time consuming than waiting for a bus and then hoping you get to the resort on time.

For the 5:00 dinner with the scooter I would take a bus to Epcot and transfer to your resort bus there. Much closer than DTD!

Do you think we should eat at Boma's and then take a bus to Animal Kingdom to take a bus back to CSR?

This is a great suggestion and I can see this would probably be my preference at the end of a day. We, too, were thinking of Boma after AK day. What is an average fare, if you don't mind sharing? We are staying at POR and I know going to DTD and back on the water taxi would be an option if not too tired, but I know there must be a ballpark fare from park to resort via cab.
