Hi! Can anyone remind me of the hotel that you can reserve a spot at to do a balcony dinner during one of the fireworks shows for a prime seat?

I was thinking this might be a nice, contained spot, but can't recall where it is.

Thank you!

LOL. That's so funny...I don't even know! Where is it located, and what does I entail?

And or course, as you know, I'm referring to the WDW resorts.

Thanks!

There's a couple of options.

There's a fireworks dessert party at Narcoossee but that's new. For the restaurants that have a view during dinner, I don't think Theresa n actual way to make sure your by the window.

Thank you, friends! I must have heard about the dessert party and thought it was dinner. Either way, that would be fine! Thanks for the feedback! I'll look into it!

Beth:

There's a fireworks dessert party/cruise that's called "Pirates and Pals". You have "dessert" (more like snacks, really LOL) do a meet and greet with Cap'n Hook & Smee, and then sail out on the lagoon for singing, trivia, and a wonderful view of the MK fireworks! They pipe in the same music you hear in the MK.

We try to do this every time we go - it's just silly fun, with a great fireworks show at the end! And there is a special guest to greet you at the docks for another meet and greet! ;)

We also did the Star Wars fireworks dessert party at HS in early January - there were a row of lower tables up front for those of us on wheels, and the treats were really pretty, well-themed and yummy! We went to the very first one - I have heard they made some changes (to menus and layout) since then, so I don't want to set any incorrect expectations, but it was a great party as well.

There are a couple of other dessert parties running in conjunction with fireworks at different places around the World.

I think they still offer Private Dining at the Grand Floridian. It's ridiculously expensive; not limited to GF guests only, it's just your small party on, yes, a(n unoccupied) room balcony.

Thank you guys who've added more responses. I'll have to check the price of the Grand Floridian. We would only do it once during the trip. I was looking around online a little bit more and it may have been the California Grille, that someone mentioned earlier. But I'll check both of these, thank you all for the ongoing suggestions! As some of you know, I'll have my new service dog with me too, who will not be used to the fireworks at the beginning of the trip. I know a hotel restaurant or balcony will still be loud, but I'm thinking it might give me enough distance (and the fact that we're not surrounded by thousands of people) that I can reassure him, and "ground" him, helping him adjust a little too.
