Dinner and a movie

Yep, it is crazy how much movies cost these days. I took the kids to see "Epic" this weekend in 3D - a matinee show, and it was $40 for three tickets! I got them the snack pack at the theater - $7 each, so over $50 for three people to see a movie! Yuck! I do budget for it for sure, but I remember going to a matinee show with my dad as a kid and paying $10 including drinks and popcorn. do budget for it, and we probably see a movie in the theaters only 3-4 times a year these days.
