Dinner ADR times question

We have booked 10 days in August with the free dining. I called yesterday and got ADRs for dinner for almost everyday at around 5:00. We even got the 5:00 show of Hoop-Dee-Doo. I was a little surprised to get everything I wanted. Is this just earlier than most people want to eat dinner?

sheesh i called yesterday and couldnt get anything around 5:30 ill call back this morning when they open and try around 4:45ish 5 o clockish, and hope i can get something.

I made our MYW pkg ressies for 9/16-20 on Apr 4 and made my ADR's on Apr 5. Didn't have any problem getting the ADR's we wanted:

9/16 = Kona Cafe - 7:30pm
9/17 = Concourse Steakhouse 7:00pm
9/18 = LeCellier 6:00pm
9/19 = Cape May Cafe 6:30pm

I would think that's earlier than most would choose. We have a 2 year old, and we don't even eat that early.

Well that works great for us then. We only eat a light snack for breakfast, lunch around 11:00-11:30 then dinner around 5:00.

I usually eat later than that, but I find that after a long day it's sometimes nice to take the earlier dinner time. This lets you recharge and maybe do something after dinner. The parks are open late and it's much cooler at night! Have a great trip!

We are going 9/15-9/24 and I did not have any problems either. Most of ours are 5:30-6:00 timeframe for 2 adults. We are not doing the free dining but we like to have one TS a day - so I thought I better go ahead and make the calls now. Every place, every time we wanted was available.

Garden Grill - 1:00pm

the Plaza - 1:00pm

Sci-Fi - 2:45p

Wolfgang Pucks - 6:00pm

Boma - 5:45pm

Chef Mickey - 5:30pm

Coral Reef - 6:00pm
