Best places to eat for 2 adults and 1 toddler? Hoping to make reservations if required!

We already have a reservation at Goofys diner!

Thank you!!

Are you looking for dinner only or other meals? The Minnie and Friends breakfast at the Plaza Inn is great. It is a buffet-style character breakfast. There are a ton of characters there (I believe we met 13 the last time we went) and they do a nice job of interacting with the kids. Plaza Inn for lunch is also nice, they have great fried chicken, but no characters. They do not take lunch reservations though.

Dinner and lunch! We get breakfast at our hotel so will be eating there although that minnie and friends sounds great!

Big Thunder Ranch BBQ is a popular suggestion. It is an all-you-can-eat outdoor table service location. There is a set menu of BBQ chicken, ribs, beans, cornbread, etc. I believe the toddler would be free. The food is very good.

This is a good suggestion. Jolly Holiday is nice bakery/sandwich place for lunch. Does your child like macaroni and cheese? That is the kids option at many of the restaurants. To tell you the truth, we have found that, outside of things like character meals or the high-end places, the biggest thing that differentiates most of the restaurants are the kid's menus and what our kids will eat.

You might want to take a look at the Disneyland dining website and see the menus for the different restaurants. That can give you a feel for the kids options and what might appeal to your child.

I agree with the previous poster about checking out the menus. With our toddler (s) when we went they usually just ate off one of our plates (the portions are huge!).

Some of our favorite counter service are::
Disneyland:
-Bengal barbeque
-Harbour Galley
-Hungry bear restaurant
-Rancho del Zocalo

California Adventure counter service:
-Boardwalk Pasta and Pizza
-Corn DOg Castle

We also loved Minnies Breakfast and the Big Thunder Ranch BBQ for a table service!

Have a magical time!

Thanks for the recommendations.. I'll look into them :)

Cafe Orleans for Monte Cristos and Beignets. The monte cristos are huge, share. You can take the beignets to go, but it's not the same fresh!

I am another vote for BTR BBQ. It's a nice outdoor setting and is very casual. They have a stage there that the kids can go up and join in the show if the want :thumbsup2

And the food is really good too

Blue Bayou is good for Table Service. Expensive, but a great experience.

I assure you that toddlers are not served free at BTMBB. I know because I over heard a C M replying to a guests question on the subject.
He, the CM, said " I am sorry for any confusion, but we do not serve toddlers for free, we charge a very high premium for them"

lmao ;)

I like to brown bag it with the Pirates. For as long as I toss them a roll every so often, they pretty much leave my lunch alone! lol
Just don't begin to nosh upon your lunch until after the second drop. Otherwise, you will need a mini umbrella for your lunch. ;) No, really man! Enjoy! I do.
