I'm starting (really really early) to plan our first family vacation to Disney. We plan on going end of September/beginning of October.
Our boys will be 17 months old during the trip and I am wondering about sit down dinners with them. Assuming they are okay in a restaurant we'd like to do a character meal. How does Disney do meals for children under 3? I seem to only be able to find pricing for children 3 and up.
Does this mean we can just feed them off of our plates?

Oh my goodess, they are too cute. They can eat at buffets and family style restaurants and off of your plate at other tabe service meals. When we were there in November my two year old was given a drink at all table services and some even brought him something to eat.

Ditto this! They brought my son meals and drinks, even special ones because he is lactose intolerant and we were not charged a thing! Provided that the little men like the characters do 1 or 2 character meals, they are so fun!

we had a "free" meal for our 2 yr old at Cinderella's Royal Table - vegetables and dip, buttered noodles, and ice cream. We aslo had plenty of buffets and family style (Crystal Palace, 1900 PF, LTT, Chef Mickeys, Chip N dale at the Land)

Thank you! Nice to hear that feeding them at table service will be so easy. I always worry that we'll run into the 1 child per 1 adult rule. Hopefully they like the characters, this trip will be mainly for us and to take lots of pictures.

Buffets you will be fine. But if you order anything for them, you'll need to pay for it.

We'd planned on that for regular table service, but traditionally we eat at Crystal Palace at least once each trip and couldn't find pricing.

your boys are precious!

we took ours at 9 months and he'd have a little taste of stuff. even now when we go out, he'll eat a tiny bit and we don't get charged.

i was reading your blog and LOVE their halloween costumes! i'm stealing the idea for thomas' mardi gras costume.

Your boys are ADORABLE!!!!! Thanks for including their picture in your post!!!!

We went to WDW in March (yes, it's been 10 months since our trip) -- at the time, our oldest was 3 and the twins were 2. We didn't pay for meals for the twins and they ate off our our plates and their brother's plate. We did order milk for them at every meal -- at some places, we were charged for the milk -- other places just didn't bother. We had the Deluxe Dining Plan (not sure we'd do that again, but it was right for that particular trip).

Planning a trip with multiples is a lot of fun, especially if they are as different as my twins can be. Have fun with the planning and remember that this is WDW -- if you can imagine it, it can happen!!!!!!
