Are there any plans to add a Stitch character meal at WDW? I thought I read that there is one at DL now. It would make my son's dreams come true if they would have one this summer.

My son would love it too!!!!!! I'm hoping maybe we'll get to see him at MK near the stitch ride....or possibly at an O'hana b'fast. But I'm not saying anything to ds to get his hopes up.

I would love a Stitch meal and I'm 24!! My daughter has more Stitch stuffed animals than she has dolls. I really think he'd fit in well at the Poly, and it would be such a nice change from having the same characters at every meal. That was the really nice thing at DL-yeah, they had the Pooh characters at the MK character breakfast, Chip and Dale at the GC, but they had an Ariel lunch at CA (with Minnie, Pluto, etc.), Max at PP (and Minnie and friends), and Goofy's Kitchen was incredible-Aladdin, Daisy Duck, Aurora, Baloo, Goofy, Mickey, Donald, and 1 or 2 more. I had never seen some of those characters at a meal in WDW and it was nice not seeing the same ones at each place. Also, at Goofy's Kitchen they have a cute little backdrop where a character poses for photos with the kids, much cuter than the plain wall at Chef Mickey's or Donald's in AK. It was made to look like a kitchen, with appliances in the background and stuff. We bought one of those photos, but have no desire to get the one at Chef Mickey's anymore. Maybe there's an address to write to Disney to tell them that we want a Stitch meal!

Last January (2004) we ate at Chef Mickey's for my DD's birthday. All of the usual characters were there, but to our surprise so was Stitch! He wasn't following the pattern that the other characters do when they walk around the floor. Like Mickey, Goofy, Minnie et al would circulate in a pattern throughout the dining room while someone like Donald would be inside the entrance and you could get your picture taken with him. Not Stitch! He went wherever he pleased and did whatever he pleased. He would steal kids hats or even adult hats and run away or mess with the people while they were getting dessert. He really lived up to what you would expect from Stitch. When we left I asked the CM who checked us in and she said that they didn't know when he would be there. He would just show up! Just like Stitch! I hope we see him again in our dining travels!

Thanks for the info on Stitch at Chef Mickeys! My husband and I are stitch fanatics! No joke! We have a whole wall of Stitch memorabilia from when the movie first came out, we even saved the original ads in the paper because we thought they were too funny at the time! So a Stitch character thing would be great! We never eat at Chef Mickeys but may just try that in hopes that he shows up now! :earseek:

Count me and my FDH as Stitch Fanatics ALSO!!! We are planning our FTW for October and Stitch is a DEFINITE for the reception!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! :teeth: :earseek: Also when we went in October I was bummed that it was just Mickey for the wake up calls. Anyone know what happened to him?? Anyway!! We would LOVE it if O'hana's became the Lilo and Stitch character dining. :flower: :goodvibes

Shonnel and Joey :earsgirl: :earsboy:

My DD would love this!! In fact if it was availible she would probably pick a character meal with Stitch over CRT :teeth:

:cool1: That would be so cool if Stitch visited us at Chef Mickeys. We are booked for a Easter Sunday brunch. This is our second trip to WDW. We were there last Spring break. We met Stitch at Animal Kingdom. He didn't "act like" Stitch, he just stood there and posed for a picture. Him clowning around at the Chef Mickey meal sounded like so much fun. I sure hope he shows up when we are there. I am SO HOOKED to this and can't wait to get home from work to see what other people have posted. Kind of makes the waiting for our trip a little easier. March 25th PLEASE!!! :cheer2: GET HERE FAST!! REAL SOON! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

I can tell you why Stitch appears sometimes at Chef Mickey's! It means a character performer in his hieght was scheduled as a spare that morning for the resorts and no one called in. When that happens, they will sometimes throw random characters into the lobby. :)

I don't know why O'hanas doesn't have Lilo and Stitch....you'd think that would be a given considering the name of the resturant!
