Yup, Florida is riduclously hot during the summer. June isn't as bad as August, but you're still talking upper-80s to 90s (or higher) in the afternoon. It can get insufferably hot. It's also our rainy season, so you can usually expect thunderstorms in the afternoons anytime between noon and 4pm. After the storms, it usually only cools a little... instead, it gets hot and muggy.. like being hit in the face with a steaming wet towel (I love this weather, weird as that may sound!)
I belive there is some shade in the dining area there, however. But if`you're wanting an indoor experience, the Luau is awesome! =)
