Hi Everyone,

We are headed to Disney in a few weeks with my husband's whole family and we have a few ressies for 8 - 12 people. When I called to rearrange a few of my ressies the woman said we wouldn't be sitting together for a few of them, and there was nothing she could do about it, but that upon arrival to the restaurant I could ask to be put together. One of the nights is my husband's birthday (Whispering Canyon) and I'd hate to have us all sitting separate. And a few of the other ones (Hoop Dee Doo, 1900 Park Faire, Kona) we will be with my SIL and her family and my nieces (who are close in age to my kids)...again I'd like to be able to sit with them...it's their first trip to Disney....EVER!

So my question....are the restaurants pretty accommodating? Do we have a decent shot of sitting together for most (or all) of our dinners? Anyone have experience?

Thanks!

We were a party of eleven for our last trip to Disney, and we shared dinner plans every evening. Most nights, we were seated at two tables next to each other. Occasionally, we had one large table. Either way, we were always close enough to hold conversations and for the the children to "table hop." Have a great trip!

I think you should be fine. We traveled with a group of nine in September and found most of the restaurants were willing to work with us as long as we were willing to work with them. This meant sometimes we waited a little longer than normal, but we all got to sit together, or that our table was not in the best seating. For example, at Ohana's, we had to wait, but they brought us drinks and we were the only ones in the lobby; at Park Fair, we were put in a section off to the side, not in view of the main floor, but all of the characters still came over and visited us.
My tips would be to arrive a little early, to be okay with extra wait times, and to be flexible in where your seated, if you want to sit together. Overall, however, most of the restaurants are very accommodating and help you to have a magical experience.
Have a great trip!!! :yay:

Thank You so much for easing my mind! We are very flexible and will be totally fine even sitting next to each other or waiting a little longer! I was just nervous we'd be totally separate or seated at different times!

Thanks again! :thumbsup2
