Dining with an Imagineer

I was wondering if they are still doing this ? Our last trip ('07) we did this for our son who hopes to some day become an Imagineer, and it was great. We did the lunch and it was very informative and fun. Hoping we can do it again. Thank you.

Still at the Brown Derby on Mon., Wed., Fri at 11:30 am. I booked it for our Jan. trip. I had a great time when I did it in July 2009 - can't wait to do it again.

My mom and I just did Dining with an Imagineer last Friday (8 Oct). The imagineer we had was responsible for designing buildings and facilities. As always, lots of insight into the different aspects of WDW. These "pay for extras" I think is what Disney really shines at. It was only 8 of us dining. Food excellent, way too much food by the way, atmosphere perfect, and the "souveniers" given at the end were a nice touch. I would highly recommend doing it again.

has a recent menu posted. It's similar to ones I have seen before. All four courses are included in your lunch price.

The dinner Dining with An Imagineer has shifted from Artist Point to Flying Fish earlier this year. I didn't see anything on Disney's site about FF so I'm uncertain if it is still offered. Here is a report from earlier this year.

as far as other things, spoilers ahead............................................................









we received nametags, personalized menus, and personalized plates with the name of the event, the date, and the signature of our Imagineer. The were in the process of changing the plate suppliers and had to mail ours out to us. Each of the three of us got a plate. Our menus did have misspellings though. We didn't really care, but I'm sure they could have reprinted if necessary.

We had dinner at FF last week and the display is up about Dinner with an Imagineer. There is also a plate on the wall. I didn't make note of the future dates though.

We really enjoyed our dinner as always BTW. Fantastic risottos each and every time.
