Dining voucher question

I have not seen much information about the vouchers and am wondering about the dinner and character breakfast vouchers. Do these cover the total price including tax, and what about the gratuities? Are the dinner vouchers good for anything on the menu or do they have a particular value to be applied toward a meal?

yes tax an tip included. an some dont think there worth it. for me they are when we are on long days. this time were only be there 2days not worth it to us.

but next year we will probley get them again

Are you asking about the dining plan or character meal vouchers? I can offer no advice on the DP but from what I've read for the most part it's not worth it. CM vouchers I can help with ~ yes in most cases they do help, you purchase them from places like Ares ~ http://arestravel.com/77_DisneylandResort.html or Get Away Today ~ http://www.getawaytoday.com/TicketListing.aspx?dest_id=2

For a breakfast with Lilo & Stitch I don't think a voucher would help, for Goofy's & Ariel's yes it would.

Vouchers can save you some money if you do not have an AP, AAA, or CM discount. Also it depend on how many vouchers you are buying because of added fees. One voucher for one person is a waste of money. Vouchers for a CM is a waste of money as well as for a Premium AP. Look at your total bill then see if your AP, AAA, or CM discount would be cheaper or the same. If the same then you would have a chance to buiy ahead of time and thus better budget.

Vouchers are payment only so you still have to make reservations. Most vouchers are for all you can eat buffets but yes at Ariel you could choose anything on the menu.

Dining plan in not a money saver. They give you vouchers for some meals but the bad part is that they also give you vouchers for amounts like $5 that you must use in it entirity and if you use less that the amount TOUGH as the money is gone. Not at all like WDW where with proper planning you can feed a family pretty well on the paid version of their dining plan.

also I dont think the storytellers CM vouchers is cheaper then out pocket.
32 at getaway today an 18 for a kid

22.99 adult an 11.99 a kid walk in. so Im trying my self to figure out if its worth it.
