Dining time for Liberty Tree Tavern

Hello,

We are debating Liberty Tree Tavern or Columbia Harbour house for an early dinner on the Nov 14th MVMCP. My parents really want Liberty Tree but I don't want to give too much party time up. How much time on average does LIberty Tree Tavern take? Is it one of the quicker sit-down meals? Additionally is Columbia Harbour house a similar vibe? I do love the Colonial aspect and holiday meal at Liberty tree. Feels more holiday for me. This is our first time btw.

Liberty Tree has a tendency to run behind on ADR's. I think the last time I ate there, they were at least 30 minutes behind in seating. You can eat quickly once sat due to the all you care to eat style, but rushing through the dinner is no fun. If you could get an ADR around 4:30 or 5 on the party night, you would be ok for the 7pm start probably. I can't comment on Columbia Harbor because, in my many trips to Disney, I have actually never eaten there.

They are two completely different experiences. Columbia Harbor House is quick service and a basically a seafood based menu. Liberty Tree is a table service restaurant where the food is served family style. Think Thanksgiving dinner. I would not waste party time eating there, as others have said, if you can get in early, before the party starts at 7pm, then do it. We eat at Liberty Tree each visit and have always waited at least 15-20 minutes before we were seated. Once seated, it is fairly quick because you don't order entrees, it is all prepared because everyone gets the same food options (all you care to eat family style). It's a heavy meal, but good.

I've had the same experience with Liberty Tree. Tends to take awhile to get seated. Once we were seated the meal has always been pretty efficiently served so that you aren't sitting there waiting forever. Columbia harbor house has more of a cafeteria vibe inside. It's busy and with it being a quick service there are people up walking around everywhere.

I'd recommend doing *something* in the 4-6ish time the restaurants are still booking bc we found in the past during the parties that the food lines are LONG and since they don't have mobile ordering it's a slog. If you want sit down the LTT is probably your best bet. I think for the group of 6 we had it was under an hour once we sat down bc the food pretty much immediately starts coming once you place your drink orders.

For an early dinner you should not have an issue being seated on time at LTT. We typically make our ADRs around 5pm and have never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes at LTT in that early window. The dinner itself can pretty much be as fast or slow as you want it. There is no ordering to slow things down, they bring your courses pretty quickly, its just a matter of when you've had enough. Of course it will not be as fast as a CS, but as TS's go, LTT is one of the quicker options. If your parents really want to try LTT, I would not deny them. If the atmosphere appeals to them they will probably like it a lot.

Everyone is right about Liberty Tree Tavern, slow to seat, fairly efficient to serve. You have the colonial decor and artifacts but there are lots of "rooms" so you really only see what is around your table. I would not book past 4 pm. One reason is lots of non-party folks are trying to get in before 6 so I think around 4 will move better. You'll want to be out and ready by party time.

Columbia Harbor House is quick service and the upstairs is decorated really well, very colonial. Quick meal. BUT I believe it closes at 5 pm on party nights AND they often close the upstairs sooner than that so folks are scrambling for seats downstairs which is not quite as enjoyable decor wise.
