Dining tickets? Do we need these?

We leave in 4 days!!

We have reservations for Goofy's Kitchen and the Plaza Inn breakfast. I keep reading about dining tickets. What are these? Do we need them? We plan to just pay with credit card. Does anyone know if we will get a discount if we use Disney Visa card?

No, you don't need Dining tickets. Sometimes people pre purchase the dining plan, and then they need to present their dining vouchers to redeem for meals (the dining plan is generally not a good idea). I'm not sure about the visa thing but I'm sure someone else will know

I'm not sure about Disney Visa discounts, but I do know that they offer AP and AAA discounts.

You can buy meal vouchers discounted at GetAwayToday and pay with those-- they can save you a few bucks. You don't NEED them, it's just a way to save some money.

I just looked, with the voucher for Ariel's grotto you save about 2 bucks per adult, 1 for a child. Not real significant. They have them for Ariel's, Goofy's and it looks like the Plaza, although it just calls it Disney Character Breakfast.
