If you get the dining plan this xmas is it the new dining plan that doesnt include apps and tips or does that start next year?

Ill be in WDW the week after x-mas. When I made my ADRs a month or so ago I was told that nothing will change until the following year. I am going to call back and make of that though, just to make sure that everything is OK. I also made my actual Disney reservations in early April before the idea to change the plan in 08' even came out, so I don't really see any way it can be changed until after the beginning of the new year.
