We are getting all ready to go and lil ?'s keep coming to mind, I hope no one gets tired of seeing posts from me.
I read somewhere that you can not use cash or credit for disney restraunts??? We have to change it to disney dollars??? How do you do that,? do you just talk your visa or whatever to like city hall and change it for disney dollars?
If there is anything else you can think of that a first timer would need to know please let me know.

I think either you were misinformed or misunderstood. The restaurants in DLR all accept regular cash and everywhere except the outdoor vending carts accept credit cards. You do not need to convert your money to disney dollars.

Disney restaurants will take credit and especially cash. DDollars are a fun way to pay for things but don't stress about changing cash into DDollars! Counter service also take credit; only the vendor carts will not accept credit but readily take cash!!

If you are after a Dole Whip by the Tiki Room, be aware that that is also considered outdoor vending and they only accept cash. FYI

Thank you so much for all the information on this. As a first timer there is so much to think of. I must of read it wrong. thankfully. I was so worried about having to change everything into disney dollars. ALthough the pirate ones are soooo cool

Disney Dollars are really fun keepsakes too. The toothfairy around these parts gives Disney Dollars for lost teeth!
