Dining Rotations

If I am on the Fantasy 7 night Western, what are the dining rotations? Is there one rotation over the others that you prefer - and why? Can I request a specific rotation? We are second seating, and most likely won't be dressing to the nines for formal night - I have a teen that will likely be in cargo shorts and a button down or polo - that's about as dressed up as he gets (or even owns)

I'm not sure of the rotations for western but I always like eating at Animator’s Palate. All the restaurants are very nice but with two small kids I always found Animator’s Palate more laid back than the other 2. I know it really not but in my head I would like to think that.

Your dining rotation will not be confirmed until after you've boarded the ship. I would suggest that you call the DCL Travel Desk to make a request for a specific dining rotation, though. You can reach them directly at 1-800-951-3532. It won't be guaranteed that you'll get the specific rotation.

People get dresses up and dressed down there is no standard. Cargo shorts and button down or polo is fine. I have seen people on formal night where t-Shirts it's all up to you and what you feel comfortable with.

Some people prefer the rotations that put them in either Royal Palace (or maybe Enchanted Garden) for formal nights, while others prefer the one that puts them in Animator's for Pirate night.

We've never requested a specific rotation, taking what DCL assigns us. Everyone onboard will dine in the same MDRs, with the opportunity to select from the same menus during the cruise, so there's no "advantage" in selecting a rotation in that aspect.

It's also been speculated that you have a better chance of being seating with others of the same party make up if you don't hamper DCL in where they seat you.

Yes, you can request a rotation (they will point out it's not guaranteed, however). Just call DCL (or have your TA do it, if you used one), and have the request placed on your reservation.

While there is suggested formal attire for formal night, it's not enforced in any way. You'll find all manner of dress from tee shirts and shorts to fancy dress on most any night (including formal night).

Sorry, all I know is the info I saved from lbgraves. I believe the D itinerary is fairly new. Maybe someone else can chime in who's done it?

If I had a guess, I'd hazard that it would be same as the other Easterns: 1231231

We were on the Fantasy Eastern itinerary, but we requested a specific rotation so that we would be at Animator's Palate 3 times, and it was no problem. A great decision!
