Hi,

My wife and I are taking our first Disney cruise (with two of our girls) and would like to dine at Remy's one evening; but we want to make sure we don't miss our evening at Animator's Palate. Is there any way to know our dining rotation prior to boarding? Or do we just have to wait till we board and make our reservations then?

(We are taking the three night Bahama's Cruise on Feb. 7th.)

Thanks!

- Chris

There are two choices. You can book remy now and if it interferes try to change your dining rotation when you board. Or wait and see you rotation and book it on board.

Book it now and then if it is a problem, change it after boarding. They can sometimes be more flexible with changes than with a new rotation.

The other possibility is that if you have early dining, make a later Remy reservation. Go with the kids to the main dining, but just have a beverage (TELL the servers or they will freak out). Then deposit the kids in the programming and go to Remy.

You can also call in and request a certain dining rotation. They won't guarantee it, but they will add it as a note to your file and your chances will be better.:)

Calling in for a certain rotation definitely isn't guaranteed. I was told that it had been set to what I requested, but when I got onboard, it was changed. Not a huge deal, it's just that formal night in Parrot Cay looks kinda weird.

We've done formal night in all the MDRs, and it's more a case of ambiance, than decor IMO.

:cutie:

OP is on a 3 night Bahamas cruise; they will have no formal night.

On longer cruises--yes, it is nice to have formal night in the more formal restaurant, but it really makes no difference. I'd like to see them turn down the volume on the parrots, but.....such is life. Honestly, my life is too short to worry about which restaurant I'm sitting in on which theme night. On longer cruises (14-15 nights), you'll likely have formal/semi in each of the MDRs. Not a big deal at all.
