I had posted this at the bottom of another post but since I didn't get any response, I'm reposting here.

I'm starting to get a handle on this stuff but need to check out the info I'm getting. We are cruisng Eastern, 7 day for March of 2004. We have a then 17.5 y/o. If we have the adult only rotation we would start at Lumiere's, have the "Best of" the second night at AP (Formal night) and then have the show at AP on Wed. The semi-formal night would be Thursday (Gala). Does this seem correct.

If that's correct it looks like my best bet for Palo's for dinner is Monday night (first Parrot's Cay night), Tuesday (second time at Lumiere's, Tropicali) or Friday night (small world, third time at Lum.). We'd then try for Brunch on any of the days we could get.

At least if I have the info down then I can plan the various options of the restaurant rotations.

Hi Dean.

it looks like my best bet for Palo's for dinner is Monday night (first Parrot's Cay night), Tuesday (second time at Lumiere's, Tropicali) or Friday night (small world, third time at Lum.)

If this is your first cruise, I would skip Palo and enjoy the rotation dining restaurants with the additional special nights. If you deem this to be an unacceptable option, then my recommendation would be EITHER Parrot Cay (first night) or Luminere's (third time).

I did the March 8th Eastern this year, all adults and we had
That same rotation.
We did Palo's for dinner on the Sunday nite. From what I've read here, they have changed the formal and semi-formal. Formal is now on Thursday, and Semi Formal is Sunday night.
We figured we were already dressed up and the menu on Sunday night was no big deal to us, so we went for the Sunday night at Palo's.
I think it's Barb at Castaway Club, that has menus and Navigators at www.castawayclub.com. That helped us alot make up our minds.
Have a great time.

We do plan to do Palo's if possible but I appreciate the recommendation. Sounds like I may have the info correct other than the flip flop of Semi formal and formal nights. This was my main goal for the post, thanks.

This may be heresy to some - but we preferred Animators to Luminieres any day! (actually Parrot Cay was better) so if I had to forego one it would be Luminieres.
