Hello all! We just planned at the last minute (last week) and arrived at Disney on Monday and stayed for 3 nights. Thought I would review the restaurants in case anyone wanted to know. ...

Cinderella's Castle (dinner). We have been here twice now for dinner. The experience is really what you pay for. To dine with the princesses coming to your table in the Castle is a magical moment, and the food is good... However, that being said it is not exceptional for the price you pay. We were not impressed with the food. Do it once and you can decide for yourselves. The experience is worth it once.

Sci Fi. Hollywood studios. Lunch. Neat experience! You sit in little 57 chevys and they bring it to your car while watching Retro commercials and cartoons. Price want too bad. The cheeseburgers were amazing and the Oreo milkshakes are awesome. Definitely would do again.

Mama Melrose. Dinner .This is our absolute favorite. If you only have 1 or 2 choices, try this restaurant!!!! Pizza is great and we also had the chicken parmasean. The rolls, salad, and Moscato wine are all fabulous. Definitely a great place to eat!!!

Chef Mickeys breakfast. Buffet with everything you can imagine. Food was good but the experience with Donald, pluto, mickey, minnie, & goofy was amazing. Definitely should try it once if you haven't.

Be our guest. Dinner. I was super excited for this. I have tried to get a reservation last time and couldn't. Someone canceled right as I was booking the trip and I happened to get very lucky (or so I thought).... Service was excellent. Food was awful. Had steak for husband and myself. Couldn't cut through it. Full of grissle. Daughter had chicken and it wasn't great either. When you pay close to $45 per person for dinner, the food should be exceptional. This was not and we would not recommend it. Save yourself half and go to Mama Melrose. We sure wish we would have!

I agree about CRT, it is a great dining experience but definitely pricy. We've done breakfast more than dinner which is slightly cheaper. Glad you enjoyed the experience.

Bummer about your BoG dinner.... sadly I find their food to be lacking but I give them a pass for the exceptional theming.

It's been years since I've been to Mama Melrose so your favorable review has me wondering if I need to get there quickly! :)

Thanks for taking the time to share.

Thanks for sharing. We did a few of the same restaurants just last week during Xmas week. We did Cinderella's Castle for Breakfast a long time ago, this was before they started charging two DP credits. I just remember that the experience was great and I love that we have a picture of my DD dressed as Aurua with Aurua.
Sci Fi is great and the burgers are great! I almost didn't schedule Sci Fi but did because I knew the family would be upset if I didn't.
We did BOG dinner on Xmas Day. I thought it was just ok. Later in the week we did BOG for lunch and it was the BEST lunch we had all week!!

Thank you for your reviews. We have some of the same ADR's for our upcoming trip in April. Sci-Fi, Mama Melrose, and BOG. I saved BOG for our last night as I thought it would be special with the atmosphere. I am sure my DH will order the steak so I hope it improves. :)

Glad to hear the others were good experiences for you.

Thanks for the reviews! Too bad about BoG! We've been twice for lunch and the food was OK. We plan on going back for lunch in May, but we won't be going for dinner. The atmosphere is wonderful and the chocolate cupcakes are worth a visit on their own! Mama Melrose has been one of the places we return to most visits. :)

Thank you for sharing your dining experiences! We're going to Mama Melrose for the first time on Feb 7 with the Fantasmic package. I'm glad to hear it's good!

Nice reviews. Mama Melrose sounds delicious!! We too had bad food at BOG, but the interior was worth it to see it once.

I keep hearing that the food at lunch is better than at dinner--which is a shame. We had lunch there a few weeks ago and liked the food. We also liked the service, which "magically" found our table after we chose our own place to sit.

I do love CRT but agree that the food is not all that, it is good but not that good $$$$. The DD loves it. We also enjoy Mama Melrose. Sci-Fi was disappointing to us. We ate for dinner and the food was terrible. The best part about it was the dessert and the atmosphere. We ate at BOG for lunch, fantastic atmosphere, had the steak sandwich (very tough) but everyone else enjoyed their food.

Great reviews. I'm always scared to get steak anywhere due to the fact there may be grissle (not a fan). I'm swaying more towards Mama Melrose in the future and never really gave it any thought before :)
