We had the dining plan and I had made all my PS/ADR's well before the trip.
The day we checked in I went down to Guest services and asked for a printout of all my ADR's half were missing and ones that were cancelled long ago were still there. The guy was im sorry an idiot and like well they arent here you must be wrong, I was like no I am not I will go back to my room and get the confirmation numbers if you want. ANyway he does some fiddling with the computer and the last digit of my phone number was different and he found everything but it was a pain. Disney really needs to get on the ball with some of this stuff also my name was spelled differetn everywhere, some places Kelly, then Kelley and then Kelli it was annoying.
Saturday we ate at Everythings Pop it was fine. Nothing spectacular but its a food court. That night we went to the MK and ate at Pecos Bill and it was great. They have the best fixins bar of anywhere and I love that chicken wrap.
Sunday we had breakfast with Donald at AK. I loved this and the food was pretty good. Everything was warm and good the kids had a great time with the characters and I was very happy with it.
We were so stuffed from the breakfast we didnt eat lunch at Flame Tree like planned. We werent sure about dinner we were gonna go to DTD but Dh wanted something else. I called Disney Dining and was able to get us a PS/ADR at the Cape May Cafe. It was buffet and very good. The SALMON was delicious. This was the only time we had to call for a reservation as all others were made in advance and we had no problem.
Monday we were at MK so we had lunch at Pinnoichos village and it was good. I had the salad and the guys all had pizzas they were good but the pizza at pizza planet at MGM is better. I also had some Figaro fries later in the week and they were great. The cashier Monday named William was amazing! So friendly and happy, he was great. All the CS places were packed.
Monday for dinner we ate at the Kona Cafe for dinner I would say it was the best TS meal we had all week. The server Cyndi was great and the food was SOO GOOD! I had the Filet and it was amamzing. We all loved the food and Cyndi even packed up some desserts for us as we were all stuffed. I was very impressed with the Poly and so was DH he thought the Poly and WL looked so much nicer than the beach club. The lobby at WL blew him away.
Tuesday was our Epcot day and we ate a CS lunch at the Lotus Blossom it was ok DS's loved the Red Bean ice cream. The food was good but not as good as I remember. One of our sons had chicken fingers at American Adventure, it was fine. The smores were good.
Tuesday night for dinner we ate at Le Cellier it was awesome. Claude was our server and he was great. We really liked him and he was like a book of knowledge about Canada. He brought things out asap but didnt rush us as we had the kids. He made the meal smooth and organized. I had the chicken and dh had the steak. He were both very impressed. I like the steak better at Kona though. This was the 2nd best meal of the week.
Wednesday we went to MGM during the day and ate at Pizza Planet. It was good for CS and the kids love this place. We like going there.
Wednesday night we ate at WCC. It was OK the 2nd worst meal i had there. I ate there last year with my mom and it was way better. It just wasnt the same and the food wasnt that good. I got the nachos as my app and we all picked at them. DH got the skillet and said was very bland. We left and went to Mk after that.
Thursday we ate at MK we did Peos Bill for our CS and Chef Mickeys at night. DS6 loves chef mickeys. The character interaction was amazing. The food was OK. It didnt seem like there was as much there as last time. Overall it was ok but we didnt really do it for the food we did it for the kids.
Friday we had lunch at American Adventure in America at Epcot and DH had lucnh in Japan neither were that great.
Friday evenig we had dinner at Alfredo of Rome this place was a disaster. They had all these people eating there from the candlelight thing and were WAY backed up. We were seated and the waitress was awful. The food took 45 min to come out and she kept blaming my steak. Hello it doesnt take 45 to cook a steak which was awful. DH had the lasanga and it was good. He didnt like his app though. I had a mozzarella app and it was ok but not worth 10 bucks if you had bee paying. It was a poor meal all around. People were seated after us and left before us. I would not eat here again.
We left sat a.m. so we didtn eat anywhere.
We had one CS extra so our last day at MK we used it to buy patries at the MK bakery. We were told we could pick 3. It was good. We used all but 4 snacks. The snacks were used more for drinks and ice creams some fresh fruit for my younger son. We made out with the dining plan. We "spend" more than we did for the plan and I would not have eaten TS every night without it. I would have not happy to pay 29 for a steak in Italy for what I got. We would do the dining plan again. The food at Kona and Lecellier were heads above the rest. I do think that many of the carts and some of the other places should have more info about the dinign plan so you can see whats included. Some CM's knew alot about the plan while others were like I dont know. Overall it was great for us and we liked it alot. We are looking to do dining again on our next trip.
