Background - We were a family of 7 adults on the dining plan and 1 two yr old (child young enough not to need to dining plan). We stayed at AKV Kidani.

7/9 - Lunch at Kidani pool. The items on the DP were disappointing, only a turkey club or chicken salad. I realize it's a pool bar but both options were bad. The turkey club had some kind of ham on it that was so salty it ruined the sandwich. The chicken salad barely had any chicken. They did have a room service menu but those items were not on the DP.

Dinner at Liberty Tree (MK). We love Liberty Tree and eat there every year. It was just as good as always this time around. We had turkey, flank steak, and pork. Each were very tasty and the service was wonderful.

7/10 - EPCOT Lunch at La Cantina De San Angel. First time for us here and we enjoyed it. Most of the group had chicken tacos and some had beef tacos. The beef was shredded and it was delicious. The chicken was cubed and it was also quite tasty. The ices they offered for dessert were different than anything I've had before but quite good. They had pieces of real fruit and appeared homemade.

Dinner at Tutto Italia. The menu has changed a bit since we were there last but the service was terrific and the food we had was good. Most had the lasagna and it was delicious. They were very accommodating and gave my son a meal even though he technically was not on the meal plan. The dessert was amazing. I had a parfait of sorts with fruit and ricotta - so good!

7/11 - BLIZZARD BEACH Lunch at Lottawatta Lodge. All had burgers, they were good.

Dinner at Wolf Gang Puck in DTD. The fish was terrific and the pumpkin ravioli were good too. All enjoyed the meal and the dessert are amazing here. Reese's Pieces cheesecake is to die for.

7/12 - DHS Lunch at Commissary. Burgers were better than I expected. I had the burger with fried shrimp and it was filling and perfectly cooked and quite delicious.

Dinner at Kouzzina (Boardwalk). I enjoyed the seafood stew. Most others were not happy with their meals and asked that we not go there again next trip. Almost everyone left food because they didn't enjoy the taste. The service was nice and atmosphere pretty but I guess we are not the Mediterranean food type.

7/13 - MK Lunch at Tortuga Tavern. All had burritos except me, I had the taco salad. The salad was quite disappointing. You get a bowl of chicken and have to make the salad yourself at the salad bar. The chicken was fatty and I hate fatty chicken, I was disappointed. The burritos were good but too small for most of my family.

Dinner at Ohana. This place is amazing, by far the best place we've eaten in WDW. An absolute must do every year! The steak, pork, chicken, and shrimp were perfectly cooked right in front of us at the grill. To start you get pork dumplings and chicken wings which were so tasty. The noodles and broccoli were good too. Not a bad thing to say about it!

Pirates & Pals cruise. Worth every penny! I believe it's about $50 per adult, absolutely worth it. The dessert party with the pirates is so fun and they give you so much food. There is a coffee bar with tons of specialty coffees, cake, ice cream, cookies, chips, pretzels, chocolates, and more I'm forgetting. It was a blast and then we got on the boat to see the electric water parade and the wishes fireworks. Perfect! Absolutely perfect! Not sure I'd do it every year since we already did it once but I would definitely do it again in a few years when my son is older and can appreciate it more.

7/14 - TYPHOON LAGOON Lunch at Leaning Palms. Burgers and chicken fingers were good. Like that the kids lunch is served in a pail with a shovel (we bought the lunch for my son).

Dinner at Le Cellier. Another one of our favorite meals. However we had a bad experience with the service to start out the night. We are a party of 8 and I realize there's a chance we'd be split up. When we checked in to our reservation the server said we'd all be together. I said great since it's nice to have the help with my son and didn't want to complicate things by splitting us up. We go to get seated and we are at separate tables with a different party in between us. I don't normally like to complain but I am on vacation with my family I don't expect to be sitting next to strangers and have half my family somewhere else. We told them we'd wait until there was a table where we could be together and we did. That was a rough start but the meal itself was great as usual. The mushroom filet mignon is the best and we all got that. Even my 2 yr old loved it!

7/15 - AK Lunch at Restaurantosaurus. Good food, but this place has turned into one of the QS that don't let you sit til you have the food. That is so hard with a child and that kind of ruined it for me. I get the concept, but it's a challenge.

Dinner at Bongos in DTD. Good food, great drinks, but the music was way too loud. The shrimp was terrific and the chicken with rice was amazing too.

7/16 - Lunch at the pool, ordered off room service. Food has an Indian African flare and it was quite tasty. I had the shrimp sandwich on naan bread and it was good. Other had the burger and didn't like that it came on naan bread. Other than that it was good.

Dinner at the Wave in Contemporary. Weren't really happy with it and wouldn't go back. We each had a hard time picking out a meal. No one loved the menu. I ordered the seafood pasta and ended up not eating it bc it was so spicy and no where on the menu did it mention that. I was going to share that with my son and didn't bc of the spices. We both ended up eating bread. Others had the pork and said it was good but small portion. One person had the lamb and ended up sick. It was not a good experience.

7/17 - Chef Mickeys breakfast, great as usual!

Lunch at Earl of Sandwich. Love the sandwiches, the best in WDW. Truly tasty and amazing!

Any questions or details I left out please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks so much for your great reviews...
I have been to most of the ones you ate at except Kouzzina..Not sure I would like the menu or the food type...but that is just me..

One thing I love to get at Typhoon Lagoon is their little mini donuts near the front of the place...very good ...like my Grandmother used to make...

Did Le Cellier still have pretzel bread for starters ???

My favorite cs in dtd is Earl Of Sandwich...how can something that simple be that great...I dont have a clue...

Thanks again for your reviews

We were just a Le Cellier a few weeks ago and yes they did have the pretzel bread. Also agree with your assessment on Earl of Sandwich.

Thank you for taking the time to write the great reviews! We weren't big fans of The Wave either, but at least nobody got sick! Never been to Kouzzina, we keep thinking about trying it but something else is always higher on the list. We also LOVE 'Ohana. Sounds like you had a great trip!

Yes it was an amazing trip! We love Kidani village and food is usually the highlight of our vacation. I have never tried the donuts at TL, will have to look into that next time. Two things I missed getting this time around were a dole whip and a candy apple. We just didn't seem to pass them by when I was hungry. Next time. And yes, the pretzel bread at Le Cellier is still there and still great!

We heard a lot of great reviews about our hotel restaurant Sanaa. But after looking at the menu I'm not sure it's right for my family. We don't care for Indian spices too much and it seems every dish mentions curry or other spices. I'm sure it's good just not our thing.
