This trip was me and DS,10, who really only eats chicken fingers. We stayed at the Dolphin. Our full-service restaurants were:
Sci-Fi-Had PS (others were turned away) and were seated in the back of a car with another family in front of us. I had a burger because of all the good reviews on the boards. I'll take a Culvers or Steak and Shake anyday. It had a dry bun and no real toppings. Fries tasted like they had been under the lights too long, although the restaurant was packed. Strawberry shake was good. DS had chicken nuggets and fries although it's not on the kids menu, our waiter mentioned it. This was my DS's fave restaurant. Not mine!
Cape May breakfast-awesome! Best breakfast! Had 0730 PS and the characters kept coming around so often it was getting awkward as to what to say to them! Service and food A+
Cape May dinner-another A+! This was my favorite meal-I stuffed myself with shrimp and desserts! service was A+ too!
Chefs de France-Another A+. Had the French lunch and was completely full afterwards. The French Onion soup had soo much cheese (yum) and the creme brulee (yum).
Whispering Canyon-This was good also. Had the fried chicken and unlimited milkshake. The meal was very good but the waiter interaction was nonexistent at our table. Another waiter in the restaurant was very funny though. If you're celebrating a b-day it's a fun place to go! The b-day cake looks good too!
Plaza Restaurant-good for a break. Had the reuben which was good and a caramel sundae. Watched people running outside in the rain. ha ha
O'hana dinner-we left MK drenched after a bad storm and of course it was freezing in Ohana. I would have gladly sat right next to the fire pit. The wontons and the shrimp were excellent. I ate all of the pineapple too. Left stuffed.
Maya Grill-DS wanted to check out Coronado Springs so we went there for breakfast before AK. It was standard breakfast buffet fare with the exception of the breakfast burrito and the cooked cinnamon apples. If you're staying at CS I would recommend it, but not worth the drive from anywhere else.
Lunch with Imagineer-fun! Our imagineer was the lead graphic designer for WDW and he had done another lunch before. He actually asked us alot of questions about how we felt about WDW. There were 8 of us (3 of them were children). I had the grouper which was good, but the lobster bisque was excellent as was the dessert. DS ate a roll and that's about it. And our plate survived the trip home!

Tubbies at Dolphin: Pizza and grilled cheese were good. Only at oatmeal and bacon for breakfast. Tried the Starbucks coffee and it was horrible! I don't know how they screwed it up! DS was excited about the Krispy Kremes until he saw them. They were never fresh (by fresh I mean brought in that day). I think Krispy Kreme would be appalled if they saw their donuts in that condition.
Plaza Pavillion (MK)-great for pizza and a good deal too. You get a personal sized instead of a slice
Beaver tail (canada)-we get one of these every trip. Cinnamon and sugar is the way to go!
Tusker House (AK)-great smoked pork sandwich with baked beans and corn on the cob. Used the lunch vouchers and got a frozen banana later because it was the only thing that wouldn't melt on this HOT day! DS had the PB&J (finally something different than chicken fingers)
Columbia Harbour House (MK)-this is our fave place at MK. I like the fish sticks and fries. Nice view of the hot people below!
Cheesecake factory (DQ)-best pizza of the trip! Had cheesecake and cafe mocha too. YUM YUM
Boardwalk Bakery-had the cinnayummie-it's huge and good!
