We snuck in a quick holiday visit and ate on and off-site. The following is in no particular order, just my memories of our meals on-site.

Brown Derby--This was our first time there and we loved it. Atmosphere is great, restaurant is beautiful and the food was tasty. Thumbs up for the martinis too. We had lunch there. DH had the Cobb Salad which he enjoyed; DS had the steak dish which he said was delicious and I had a portobello ravioli appetizer that was excellent. DS and DD ate off the kids menu--the usual fare. Rolls were particularly good.

Rose and Crown Fish and Chips--we had a snack at the stand--another first--and loved it. DH thought there was too much batter on the fish, but I liked it just fine.

The Plaza--this has become one of our favorite spots in MK to dine. We went on Sunday, one of the days that they were filming the Christmas parade, so the park was busy. But, as usual, the Plaza was not too crowded. We each had sandwiches and DH washed his down with a chocolate shake that was the best I have ever tasted at Disney (well it was just too much for him to have to drink on his own).

Pecos Bill--We had burgers and the chicken wrap. All okay for fast food, but nothing special. Will return to CHH next time.

Beaches and Cream--We stopped here for an afternoon ice cream snack and it was wonderful as always. Glad we did this on Saturday as they closed for refurbishing between 12/7 and 12/13.

Spoodles--This is my favorite Disney restaurant. I think it has the best food (even over Flying Fish and the Yachtsman). We had a wonderful butternut squash soup that was not on the menu. DH had a lamb shank dish with polenta that also was not on the menu. I had the rigatoni and DS had the fettuccine. DD had the steak on the kids menu which was great and they made mickey pasta with sauce for DS even though this was not on the menu. For dessert, I had ordered a surprise cake from the GF bakery for DS who turned 15. They did a wonderful job of making him feel special and the cake was awesome.

Bluezoo (semi-on-site)--DH and I had martinis and appetizers here and just loved the lounge area.

We also ate at Yakatori (which we enjoyed), and snacked in Germany and China. The Christmas specials in Germany were good. The service in China was great, but the food was not so good.

Too short a trip but a great way to kick off the Christmas holidays--the Osborne lights were amazing!

We love the Brown Derby. Which Martini's did you have? My favorites are the Key Lime Martini & the Watermelon Martini.
