I love listening to the podcasts and I especially love the restaurant reviews. As a mom of two young children I think it would be SO awesome to have John & Kevin do a dining review taking kids along. I'm sure there are a lot of us moms & dads who are listeners, and I know that my husband and I have to take a lot of things into consideration when choosing where to take our kids. Personally, I'd love to hear about places that may offer things other than macaroni and cheese and chicken fingers. What restaurants in Disney offer something other than the norm, or try to reach their most difficult audience with something that is a delicious and healthy choice in a way that is appealing to them? Does that even exist? Of course, I think it would also be hilarious to see how the reviewers react to the craziness that can be dining with kids. So John and Kevin, if you're interested you can always borrow mine for a fun and interesting dinner. :)

I believe Dave's girls went along on John and Kevin's review of CRT.

I think I remember that... have they ever gone with a family with younger kids like mine? They are 5 and 2 1/2.

They can babysit Ferris and Finley for a night out on the town, haha, that would be funny. I would like to hear more about he children's options at restaurants, but older kids are probably a little better like when Dave's kids went because they could share their opinions too.

ETA: They can take Teresa's kids!

Kevin did a Boma re-review with my "kid" (DD 20) and my DSIL - last June. Not surprisingly, it is my favorite review ever. :woohoo:

I doubt that is what you had in mind, however. ;) Besides the CRT review with Dave and his family, I think there have been a other reviews where some children were at dinner. If I can find them before Kevin posts, I'll edit this to add links.

Sure....I'll babysit.

I get $50 per hour, per kid.

Plus....you pay for dinner. My choice.

They may come back with a wider vocabulary.

Any takers?

They MAY come back with a wider vocabulary??? I think it'd be a sure thing.

:rotfl:Oh my gosh, ths sounds like my Dh.
We often had nephews/nieces stay with us and thier parents always coached them...Don't do what Uncle Mike does, don't say what Uncle Mike says...of course, they all LOVED him (Uncle Mike). Wider vocabulary...absolutely!

So..what exactly do you mean by 'wider vocabulary?' LOL :rotfl2:

I'm certain that someone who came up with an idea that would basically have me babysit for her kids and buy them dinner, can figure this out.

Keep in mind that I used to teach kindergarten and I dined with 25 five year olds every day.

Well, what I was thinking was more along the lines of you and John joining in on a family's crazy dinner (like mine) LOL. Can you see yourself twirling napkins with my 5 year old at Hoop De Doo? Since my kids are 5 and 2 1/2 I would never just give them to anyone for a free dinner (unless it's their grandparents of course) :) ... And I thought it would be a fun idea, I honestly wasn't trying to get a free night of babysitting and dinner. I was kidding about letting you borrow my kids :)

Huh. This just took a sudden turn to the caustic. :confused3

I must have missed the post asking for free dinner and free babysitting. Oh well, moving on... :rolleyes1

I apologize if my post appeared caustic.

It was meant in a humorous way.

I guess I assume people will "get" my sense of humor and apparently that's not the case.

Again....I apologize if I have offended anyone.

No need to apologize Kevin. My humor sensors are not working properly today most likely. I need to go get them re-aligned... time to search the DVD's...

The check is in the mail, sweetie.

Now, if I can just get Abby to stop saying "snarky." :rolleyes1

I didn't know that! Cool! :thumbsup2 I was originally credentialed as a Kindergarten teacher. Couldn't get a job, so went into computers. Oh, well. How did you like it? How long did you teach?

Sayhello

Former kindergarten teachers are AWESOME!!! :cool1::yay::banana:

Kevin, your reply was just fine. How a about a free dinner...your choice...if you can hang a spoon from your nose (no hands allowed). My dd would love that!
