Dining Review 11/27 - 12/3 Part 1 & 2

Here's where we ate, what we ate and what we paid. "We" is DH and I, DD13, DS10(the Mac and Cheese kid!) and DD7. By the way this was our first trip to WDW..so nothing to compare to.

Note: For alot of the counter service meals we had our own bottled water.
All totals include tax
Epcot:
Electric Umbrella - we ate here twice. We really enjoyed the food here. We ate outside both times and really enjoyed watching the fountain.
We Had: 2 Cheesburger W/ fries
1 Chicken Strip w/fries
1 Kids meal chicken nuggets
1 Kids Mac and Cheese
TOTAL: $28.17
Second Visit: 1 Cheeseburger w/ fries
1 chicken strips w/fries
1 double cheeseburger w/fries
1 kids nugget w/fries
1 kids mac and cheese
TOTAL: $29.24

Refreshment Port (AKA McDonald's) - My only complaint here is there is no seating and it took a long time to get our food.

Sommerfest - Germany Pretzels were huge and yummy!!

Rosie's All American Cafe -

1 kids chick nuggets w/fries (DD did not like these nuggets said they were the worst of the trip!)

Sci-Fi Dine In - We all LOVED this place! Our server was great and the whole atmosphere was soo cool!! By the way we did have ADRs for here.

Magic Kingdom:
Cosmic Ray's We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here. My only complaint was having to check out twice because of the stations.

2 Half chickens with mashed spuds and cooked carrots (YUMMY)

Cinderella's Royal Table originally was going to be dessert only but ..well we were hungry!! We had an ADR and checked in about 30 mins early. We waited in the lobby about 15 mins till we were royally called. The hostess was taking us to our seats and I about died when she seated us at a window!! We didn't even request one! We had an awesome view of Cindy's carrousel ..at night! It was too cool!! We looked over the menu and I couldn't find anything I liked. I told our waitress and she made a great suggestion of just plain roast chicken, mashed spuds and veggie- PERFECT!! Dh had the same - because she made it sound so good! DH and I both ordered water.

2 kids royal crown sundaes

I forgot to mention the Pretzel Bread. WOW!! It was so delicious. Also my DD13 carefully wrapped her chocolate crown from her sundae and took it home with her....back to Jersey!!! We drove by the way and luckily had a hard top cooler with us! She did finally eat it after she showed her Grandmom and took pictures of it. She's a major choc-o-holic!!

Rainforest Cafe - Breakfast-only complaint-it was FREEZING in here

Ice Cream Cart in Dinoland

Downtown Disney
McDonalds -ok not high style dining but good and fast!!!

Wilderness Lodge
Whispering Canyon Cafe- heard so much hype abput this place, I guess my expectations were too high. The food was good but we were seated in the back and our waiter wasn't too "in to it". Until we were getting ready to leave..then the waitress on the other side of the divider started throwing straws and cracker packages and everything at our waiter..hence at us. He encouraged us to throw things back! So we did leave there laughing hysterically!!

Great reviews! We were seated @ a window our last time at CRT as well. I didn't realize how much of a big deal that was until I go home and looked at the gorgeous photo of me and my Dfi with that wonderful background! It just makes the castle experience that much cooler.

It was a big help to us, as we aren't able to get the dining plan and it is a GREAT example of what the prices!!!!! were for a full meal for families!
