How necessary are dining reservations for the buffet restaurants? We will be at DLP October 21 - 23, when I believe the French students are on holiday.

Thank you!

if you know what time you want to eat and which restaurants you'd like to try, it doesn't hurt to reserve a table in advance - if you change your mind you can always cancel by either popping into City Hall or the restaurant itself.

For the time of year your going you need a reservation. Buffets are sit down restaurants they are not counter service meals.

Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, Tuskers just to name a few.

Great information! Thank you!

Are you going half board using vouchers? You must make reservations if u intend to pay with them. We didn't know this till we arrived x

Yes, I am going DLP restaurants - are the ones listed at the hotels or at Disney Village? I am happy to try those as well!

The ones mentioned by rtilner are not in DLP but in Florida

Making reservations isn't as necessary as in Florida but it may be busy the time you are going so its worth trying to book them in advance. You can do this at City hall when you arrive or at your hotel reception

We are not - I did think about it but felt like it wouldn't work as well for us. But I didn't know you had to have reservations! Good to know.

Thanks for the awesome list! The menus will be very helpful. I'm not very adventurous at trying new things, and the buffets will probably work well because of all the choices.

Can't believe we will be there in just two and a half weeks!
