Dining reservations

I'm having a tough time getting through to the reservation line listed on the website. Do I even need to make reservations? Or, is it different than Disney?

You can use opentable for a few restaurants. We have never once made a reservation. We always like the spur of the moment.

Are the waits bad without a reservation? I thinking mostly about Mythos at lunch and few sit-down dinners at citywalk.

Mythos can be made at opentable.com, and it probably the only place that really needs one from what I am learning..That and of course Emerils on Citywalk.I don't think the other restaurants on Citywalk really take them ahead of time.That said, from what I have learned the past few months, it is NOT like disney with the dining craziness

The most I have waited was about 1 hour. That was at the peak of dinner time during July 4th weekend. The rest of the time its not to bad. We tend to eat earlier or later than the normal dinner time to avoid long waits.

RMulieri, thanks for the opentable tip for Mythos. It is the only place we make a reservation for but usually I do it in the morning of the day we plan to eat there. Now instead we are all set for lunch our first day. Thanks again for the tip.

Make sure you try the Chef's Signature Pizza...it's excellent!
