Hey everyone

I wondered if you could help me with something?...

I usually make my dining resrvations when i am at dlrp, in the parks or at concierge. But this time i wanted to pre book them over the phone.

But what i wondered is, when u book them when you are there, i usually get a slip of paper proving your reservation, but how does this work over the phone?.
How will they no you have made a reservation when you get to the restaurant?

I also wanted to no, if anyone knew if ' Walts' will be open for lunch or dinner on Tuesday 10th or Wednesday 11th Feb?

Hope you can help?
Thanks :goodvibes

When you book over the phone, they will book it in your surname. If you ask, they can give you a booking reference number, but I've always just used my surname, and given that at the restaurant when I arrive. Its always been fine.

Ohh ok great thanks!!:)

I just gotta see if 'Walts' will be open now, ive never been to that restaurant before, really would like to go!:goodvibes

me too. the food looks lovely. i have a bad feeling its closed while im there though lol

I usually book over the phone with just my surname and then ask the hotel concierge to print out a list of all my dining reservations when I arrive.
Any missing/wrong reservations can then be sorted right at the start of your stay.

That list has a reference number you can show to the restaurant if there's a problem.

When your ring the reservation number, do you speak to someone in the UK?, because i heard you speak to someone direct in Disneyland Paris?
Is this right?

Thanks:goodvibes

You speak to a CM in France - but they immediately switch to fluent English when they hear you say "Hello" :goodvibes

Ok thanks:thumbsup2

Is Walts usually open in February?, does anyone no? :goodvibes

The CM you speak to can tell if Walt's is open on the day you want to eat there.
(I've found it easier to pick a day and then have them check if it's open, rather than the CM listing all the days it's not.)

Let us know how you get on!

I would say give the reservations number a ring, they are very helpful. I've phoned them this week to book some of our meals and they've been very nice when I changed bookings due to places being shut. Walt's is closed earlier in the week next week so not sure if this is something that happens during low season regularly or is just the case in Jan.

thanks i'm ringing them now:thumbsup2

Walts is shut! :-(

But i have booked th blue lagoon for tuesday 10th Feb :-D

I would definitely check your reservations as soon as you get there - as someone has advised. I made reservations over the phone - specifically asking when Walt's would be open, and booked for 5pm on Sunday 11th as a treat on the day we arrived. I'd planned to watch the Parade that started at 5pm and take advantage of the park being open until 8pm. I went to City Hall to pick up my reservation slip and was told that Walt's was closed! It closed each day at 4pm! We weren't the only people whose bookings had been messed up. It all worked out OK in the end but it was a disappointment on our first day.
