Dining reservations with ticket only

I have a question for a friend. They are getting tickets only and will be paying out of pocket for dining. How do they go about making reservations for their character meals?

Dining reservations have nothing to do with tickets.

If your friend is staying onsite, she can make ADRs 180 days prior to arrival date, and on that day she can make up to 10 days of reservations. The +10 is a perk for onsite guests.

If staying offsite, she can make an ADR 180 days from the date she wants to dine.

Have your friend call and make ADRs. 407-WDW-DINE. That's it.
They will need to use a credit card to guarantee the reservation. CRT will have to be pre-paid as well as any dinner show.
