Dining Reservations Surprise

I just finished making our dining reservations for December. I was quite surprised at the availability!! We were searching for BOG, Crystal Palace, O'hana, Garden Grille, Akershus, and 1900 Park. Several times were open including both lunch and dinner at BOG. This is the first year I was able to snag O'hana before 7:00 pm. Exciting!!!

Yay! It's so nice to hear a success story! I was getting really nervous after seeing so many posts about how hard it was to get November ADRs. My 180 + 10 day is this Sunday--I'm hoping I get everything I want as well, although I have the added challenge of a larger party size.

I didn't realize they made dinner ressies before 5pm, is that something fairly new?

i know. i called because i always got a 5:00 because it was the first ADR. but if you look at november dates( at least the days i wanted-24th) it says they open at 4:30.

actually i just looked, its only Thanksgiving week. they are open for dinner4:30-10:00 just for that week.

Our reservations are for a group of 6. This is the first year in over ten that I was able to get O'hana at 5:15. Last trip the earliest was 8:30. BOG had several different times open, lunch and dinner. I had a hard time deciding what time to take. Last December we were unable to get anything at BOG and I tried faithfully every day up until our trip.

our group is 6 this year too, that must be the magic number We have never had trouble getting a good Ohana at our 180, because we always stay at least 9 nights, so we can usually get it at the end. This year i got it earlier in the trip. I also had multiple days and times for BOG and CRT.

Congrats! I was so happy to get all the ones I wanted too this year! I was very worried about it after reading all the threads about availability so I was online at 6 am and got BOG dinner, CRT lunch, WDP, H&V F! package lunch, Chef Mickey's breakfast for the day after check in. Got almost the exact times I wanted on each except BOG ended up a little earlier than I wanted, probably because it is a party night. Overall very happy including our BBB time!
