Hi, I am on my 180 days today and keep getting an error when I click through to book any reservation in my 10 day window - any ideas as to why this is happening??

I have myself, DH, DD, DS on the list and for some reason my daughter has an asterisk next to her name. I clicked and took her name off so it showed 'select' and it went through okay - I've no idea what the asterisk means or why it worked without her on!
 
Would you be able to let us know how you get on booking your adr's please.

I like to hear other people's experiences so I am more prepared when it comes to booking mine.
 

It was okay once I removed DD! We travel 6 Sept so could book the first 10 days, every time and restaurant we wanted was available, the only one I was worried about was Be Our Guest for lunch but it was fine. I still don't know why DD had an asterisk against her name or why it wouldn't let me book with her name still showing. We booked mainly Epcot area restaurants with Crystal Palace for one character breakfast.

One word of warning - if your booking drops back to the booking date/time page CHECK THE DATE BEFORE YOU CLICK THROUGH AGAIN. I didn't do this and booked Nine Dragons for TONIGHT AT 7PM! I called the booking line, which doesn't open until 12pm GMT (online booking is from 11am GMT) and the nice lady at Disney removed this and waived the late cancellation fee once I explained that whilst I would love to have dinner there tonight, unless I had a Tardis it wouldn't be physically possible.

I can book the remaining days one at a time over the next few mornings.
 
Isn't that odd? I would be emailing them to find out what the asterisk was for.

Thanks for the heads up i.e checking the date. I would of been in a panic seeing that I had booked a table for tonight. I would hope that all cm would be totally understanding in that situation.

A lot of people seem to be getting the ressies they want :thumbsup2
 
I'm having the same issue. We're at 180 Days today, and I went onto the site after Work to get all of them booked. Kept getting the error message. Finally called the Dining line, and was told that the website is undergoing enhancements. There is no ETA, but she was advised to tell Guests to call at a later time. :(

I managed to book the final two days of our holiday yesterday and today. It went through as long as I de-selected my DD. I emailed Disney yesterday but haven't heard back as yet, the reservations show me, DH, DS named but the fourth person is "Guest" and I can't change this to show as DD. I did read on the faq that a check mark next to a name means that person has been invited to join the group by email and accepted, but no explanation as to why it wouldn't let me book her on the reservations.

So our meal plans are as follows:

6th Sept Cape May Cafe 7pm
7th Sept Nine Dragons 7pm
8th Sept Sci Fi Dine in 6.30pm
9th Sept Crystal Palace breakfast 8.40am
10th Sept Via Napoli 7pm
11th Sept Garden Grill 7pm
12th Sept Whispering Canyon 7.30pm
13th Sept Be Our Guest lunch 12.30pm
14th Sept Restaurant Marrakesh 7pm
15th Sept Tokyo Dining 7pm
16th Sept Ohana 7pm
17th Sept Coral Reef 7pm
18th Sept Cape May Cafe breakfast 9.15am

I think it'll be MNSSHP and Epcot Food and Wine festival while we're there so we may need to amend a couple of days to fit in, I read that this can be possible in the day or two before the date you need as people will cancel then before the cancelation charge kicks in.

My DD is on the college program and working in WDW from June for 2 months so I'm hoping she comes back with plenty of tips!

ArielIwish, this happens to me last year, the IT people helped me out, I phoned them, sorry can't remember where I got the phone number Tom. They sorted it in minutes.

Ive had a reply from them and it's because I sent an invite to DD to join the family group and she hasn't logged in since 2014 so I think she has to register again. It doesn't matter for the reservations they said, I find it strange that it blocks the initial booking online though.
