I called WDW DINE to check some details before calling to make my ADR 180 days out and was told I could go ahead and make them which I did. The reservationist was able to make all my reservations at the times I wanted. She said it was possible to do so b/c I am a resort guest. Go figure when everything says 180 days!! Anyway I am all set!! Including a pirate cruise for my boys!!

The policy for resort guests is 180 + 10 days.

When I tried doing that (I'm staying at BCV & OKW for 10 days) 6/25 - 7/5/06. I was only able to make ADRs for the June portion because they didn't have park hours for July out at the time. So I had to call back.

Disney will still make the dining reservation, even without having the park hours. However, you'll have to use your judgement to estimate the park hours, for your dining convenience.

But, it is still supposed to be no earlier than 180 days and then 10 days in total can be reserved. 180 + 10 doesn't mean 190.

To OP-good for you. Have fun.

OK- that is great news for the op. But, I find it frustrating that the rule isn't understood by cms. The way I understood it was that you could make ADRs 180 days from the first night at the resort and you could make them for up to 10 days. Is that incorrect? I just wish the cms were more knowledgable. They just don't seem to know what is going on a lot. Maybe they should make it a requirement to read the dis boards at least 3 times a week!!!! :rotfl:
Guess when my trip rolls around I'll call 190 days to check just in case....

They wouldn't let me make mine! She said that I could make them at 180 days for 10 days of travel. I called two days too early. I have to call back today.

When I called 2 weeks ago to get ADR'S for my March trip, she offered to check and see if she could make some ADR's for my October trip, which was like 300 days away at that point :confused3 . I thanked her anyway, but told her I wasn't quite that organized yet :rotfl:

No..they would not still make the reservation. After I got off the phone...I called back a few hours later..same answer. I called back the next day..same answer and again one more time and still same answer from all the different CMs. I told them about the 180 +10 in which they all agreed, but it wouldn't let them make ADRs. Also...even within the 180 +10 day thing...I couldn't make any ADRs for a DTD restaurant (Wolfgang Puck Cafe) until the exact 180 day mark. The Cm said that those places (not owned by DIsney) are real "sticklers" about the ADRs. I had to wait a week and call back and then I was able to get my ADRs for the July portion of my trip. This happened to several people as we had a few posts about it. Anyway..that's what I was told by the CMs. Maybe it was really a computer glitch..but who knows?
