dining reservations at WL

We are staying at the WL. If there are no dining reservations at Whispering Canyon available on line can you still eat there without reservations if you are staying there. I thought at one time if you were a guest at the hotel that you were able to eat there without reservations. Just wondering if this is true. TY

No, it's not true. Although sometimes if you ask the concierge at WL, they might be able to make it happen. But there's no seats reserved at any resort restaurant for guests of the resort.

Nope, not true. But you CAN try walking up. If you try right at the restaurant's opening time (whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner) you should have a pretty good shot at getting seated.
