Hi, we are picking up a rental car at National at the Dolphin I believe.....

We are planning on taking the boat to MGM, and then to Dolphin and swan (is this a plan)?

And then getting either a late lunch at Swan or Dolphin. HOw does one make PS for S&D?

and any recommendations?

Thanks, Goldi

And isn't there somewhere at the S&D that you can dine, that gives you free daycare. Mommy and Daddy want a date, while DD-7 plays.....

THanks, GOldi

I believe the "free" childcare is still available at Camp Dolphin, however since they don't open until 5-5:30 I believe this is only available for dinner. Best bet is to call them directly for details.

You can make ADR's by calling the resorts directly or through Disney Dining. We have made them both ways.

Actually your late lunch would have to be an early dinner as most of the finer dining establishments don't open until 5:30. At the Dolphin, Fresh, the Dolphin Fountain, Tubbi's and the Cabana grill are opened during lunch hours (weather permitting). Fresh closes at 2 and depending on the weather Cabana Grill may also close.

At the Swan, Splash Grille is opened for lunch, weather permitting and Garden Grove is also opened for lunch depending on the need, so if you are going during an off-peak time you will definitely need to double check that the restaurant is opened.

But for a late lunch, if it's after 2, your only options will be Tubbi's, Dolphin Fountain, Cabana Grille or Splash Grille.

No personal experience but have read that the free child care is available for diners at Blue Zoo and Shula's. Just dinner as noted above.

But I wanted to add that there is no boat from OKW to MGM. :confused3 But maybe I misunderstood you. But you could take a bus to MGM and then the boat to S/D.

From BWV to National Rental Car, at the Dolphin or Swan.

So depending on directions of the boat, maybe BWV, to MGM, to swan / dolphin.

Thanks for the tips, I'm so excited, Goldi

Last week, the boat was going from the BW -> BC/YC -> Swan/Dol -> MGM

Have a good time! We just got back last week from our trip on the 23rd. It was a blast.

Speaking of the Dolphin, I must put in a plug for Fresh. We ate breakfast there and it was probably the best breakfast we have had at WDW!
