Dining Reservations at Coral Reef in December?

I called yesterday to try to get dining reservations at Coral Reef for Friday, December 10. The reservationist said that reservations are blocked for that day right now due to the candlelight processional. She said to keep checking back. Does anyone know what that means or when I might be able to get reservations for a late lunch or dinner? We are not interested in the candlelight processional. Will that be taking place at/near the Coral Reef? Should we avoid Epcot that day?

Thanks!
Leah

Maybe.Maybe not...The Candlelight Processional affects ALL Epcot TS dining .The candlelight processional is the biblical christmas story telling by a celebrity narrator and backed by a choir. There is a dining pkg available that includes seating to the show and it pretty much eats up huge blocks of tables at Epcot eateries. It goes from Nov 26-Dec 30 with 3 showings daily( which has several time slots blocked for dining pkgs). My advice is if you are not interested in the CP pkg, keep trying back to see if they release some of the tables for non-pkg people

I'm going around the same time. Coral Reef has been unavailable for everyday of my vacation. I kept checking and one day I managed a 8:05. Just keep looking. Maybe they'll open up some of those candlelight processional spots for us all soon. Good luck.
