Dining reservation question when switching resorts

We are going to be at WDW in December. We will be at Grand Floridian the first night and then move to the Poly for 6 nights. Will I be able to make all our dining reservations 180 days from the day we check into GF or will I only be able to make one days worth of dining reservations until the dining would open up for our Poly stay? I hope this makes sense.

At 180 days before your GF stay, you can make 2 days worth of reservations (day of check in, and day of checkout). The next day, you can make the reservations for the rest of your stay, as that's when the 180 days before staying at Poly kick in.

So yes, the day you check out of GF and check in at Poly, you get the benefits of both stays.
