Could also be that the first part of the trip is near Columbus Day. I suspect you may be right about limited reservations. I just hope the trip is a go!

I think your dining will go fine. We didn't have any issues. Keeping my fingers crossed for October!!

For our September trip I got our one and only ADR at BOG. We rarely do more than 2 ADRs during our trips.

There was definitely more limited availability...I booked our 180+ today. Our first day nothing at MK for dinner, not even Tony's...better availability later in our trip. I suspect they are holding back reservations.

Tony's is actually fairly popular and can be a good value on the dining plan (which many people have free now). But if you didn't even have Diamond Horseshoe that night I would suspect (1) it's a party night or an early closure night (e.g. cast appreciation, private event); or (2) it's a glitch.

We are going October 9-18 and had decent difficulty booking restaurants. Some we couldn't even get at all the day we wanted, some only had undesirable times.

That's pretty much what I got last night. At almost 6 months out, I found no availability at any place on property for dinner, from 3:30-7:30pm. Nothing in parks, resorts, DS, Nada-that's never happened.

That is crazy. We got Ohana at 730 and Oogas Cantina at 8pm and Paddlefish at 730pm so we were able to get some evenings at 6 month out exactly. Got lunch time at Sci Fi and early dinner at CRT. I am not sure if they are limiting or what is going on!

I would say capacity is being limited due to them planning for social distancing

It's mostly Disney IT issues, as usual. There's a couple of "hard to get"s that I still haven't found availability for, but mostly the issue is that sometimes nothing at all will show, or just a few things. Like "hey, we can only show T-Z for dinner right now" and then I search at 7pm and get A-F.

Hi! Just wanted to update as my 180 day mark was yesterday. For the most part, I was able to get everything I wanted! We are a large group, with reservations I wanted ranging from 4 people to 14 people depending on our plan. I had a little more trouble than usual with the large group reservations, but I was able to get reservations for 9 with no problem at Tusker and Tiffins. For everything else larger than 7, I had to split our group into 2 reservations, but that's not a big deal. I did this at Via Napoli, Le Cellier, Topolino and Sebastian's Bistro.

So overall, I have to say the availability was decently "normal" in my experience.

We have a BU trip planned for Sept and I have NEVER had a more difficult time getting the ADR's that we want. I have an ADR finder looking for 2 of the ones we want and I have used this service many times and I usually get notifications pretty quickly that they are available. This time I haven't gotten even one notification and the 'finder' has been searching for weeks! Something is definitely different this time.
