OK, Here is what I have so far,
We are doing the DDP.

Things to know:

We have Hoppers, but we also have a little one, so we do not want to skip from park to park to meals. We will probably use the Hoppers for magic hours or for the older girls when the wee one needs a break.

We are going to Animal Kingdom. But.... I am not partial to the park, so we are only going to eat probably one sit down meal there... or maybe just a the Quick serve... and then scoot out in the evening. But recommendations for sit down would be great. Unless you can recommend a FAB QS.

In Epcot... Hmmmm... I have no idea.

We want to see the Osbourne Lights, so we thought a quick serve that afternoon for lunch would be good.. Any suggestions?

Since we are at the Poly. I was thinking it would be fun for the older girls and King T and I to go to Ohana's. I thought maybe the older entertainment would be nice. I don't want to do the Luau tho. Also, that would be strategically placed for Princess H can go to Neverland Club.

Downtown Disney is a place we want to visit.... So we were thinking Rainforest Cafe? Are they on the DD? Or should we do the T-REX and just pay it OOP... that is a thought actually.

We are going for 6 nights and 7 days. We will only use 1 QS on the night we arrive cause it will be late. We will probably not use anything on the day we leave cause we have a 15 hours drive ahead. UNLESS we have snacks left over.

There are soooo many places that I would LOVE to eat, but The princesses are kinda picky. Princess A is ok, but Princess T and H... Nope... Picky picky.

A Must eat:
Cinderellas Royale table Breakfast (the only sit down meal for that day)

Want to eat at Chef Mickey's. That gets me over to the Contemporary and I want the girls to really have fun with this one.

Questions:

Was thinking about Fare 1900 (is that what it is called)? at the Grand Floridian? But that makes two princess meals? Redundant?

Is there a cool place to eat in Tomorrowland that is a sit down?

How about in Frontierland?

OMG!! I am OVERWHELMED!!!!

Also, I would love to let Princess H go to the Mad Hatters Tea party. But she will just be turning 4. Too grown up for her? Is this on a dining plan or a OOP exspense...

Goodness.. HELP!:confused3

I would absolutly book 1900 PF. My girls loved it this past fall. thye got to danse with the Prince. The step sisters and Lady tremaine are so in caracter and my girls big drill was to try to make her laugh and they did it. Cinderella is awesome. I fin that she spends more time there with kids then CRT.

What About Akershus...you get to see 4 princesses while there. it,s in the Norway Pavillon at Epcot.

DTD I usually only have CS at earl or Wolf Gang

Thank you 3P.

We thought about the Epoct PRincesses. But I think that if we go there then that may put us over the princess top. I am not sure that the older princesses or the King is going to be able to handle too many. Hard Choices.

I think I will def. do the Fare 1900 then. Thank you!

Does anyone know how many dining credits Ohanas dinner takes? one or two?:confused3

I'll try to help where I can. :) I made a comment/suggestion under each "area":

- The Flametree BBQ/Grill is pretty good. It's a Quick/Counter Service. My only complaint is that all seating is outdoors. (AK is my least fav. park, so we usually only spend 1/2 day there.... too humid for us in September!).

In Epcot... Hmmmm... I have no idea.
- So many great places to choose from!!! We're trying Chefs Des France this year (we have 9 and 6 year old princesses), and the reviews I've seen are good. As far as a CS goes, the Land has a food court type area, and the food is very good. Lots of choices/variety, plus YUMMY desserts.

We want to see the Osbourne Lights, so we thought a quick serve that afternoon for lunch would be good.. Any suggestions?

- No suggestions for a CS @ HWS... I just don't think that most of the choices are great. We don't eat often there, since I think there are so many good choices elsewhere.

Since we are at the Poly. I was thinking it would be fun for the older girls and King T and I to go to Ohana's. I thought maybe the older entertainment would be nice. I don't want to do the Luau tho. Also, that would be strategically placed for Princess H can go to Neverland Club.

- We really have liked Ohanas in the past, but I'm reading a lot of conflicting info. about the menu right now. I've also heard good things about Kona Cafe!

Downtown Disney is a place we want to visit.... So we were thinking Rainforest Cafe? Are they on the DD? Or should we do the T-REX and just pay it OOP... that is a thought actually.

- I don't think that the Rainforest Cafe or the T-Rex is on the dining plan... those would most likely be OOP. I've heard excellent things about Wolfgang Puck Cafe. Check out the menu! :)

We are going for 6 nights and 7 days. We will only use 1 QS on the night we arrive cause it will be late. We will probably not use anything on the day we leave cause we have a 15 hours drive ahead. UNLESS we have snacks left over.

Was thinking about Fare 1900 (is that what it is called)? at the Grand Floridian? But that makes two princess meals? Redundant?

- My girls LOVE 1900 park fare, for both the breakfast and the dinner! Strawberry soup is way good. The characters @ breakfast are Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger, Alice, and the Mad Hatter. The stepsisters @ dinner time are a HOOT!! They really play up their part.

Is there a cool place to eat in Tomorrowland that is a sit down?

- A sit down (but still a CS) that we always eat is Cosmic Rays. It's indoor and A/C (again, we go in September when it's hot!), but there are 3 "bays" to choose from, and decent variety.

How about in Frontierland?

- I think for a sit down/TS, Liberty Tree Tavern is back there. Also, there's Pecos Bill for a CS.

OMG!! I am OVERWHELMED!!!!

Also, I would love to let Princess H go to the Mad Hatters Tea party. But she will just be turning 4. Too grown up for her? Is this on a dining plan or a OOP exspense...

- No help on this, as we've never done it, but it sounds interesting!

Goodness.. HELP!:confused3

Hi OP - you will find a lot of useful information within Disboards, the actual dining plan PDF which lists all of the restaurants included in the dining plan ( Google Disney Dining Plan 2011) and the menus listed on allears.net under dining/the menus.

Pertaining to your specific questions - I would definitely recommend 1900 Park Fare. Since you are staying at the Poly it will be easy for you to get to any of the resorts that are also on the monorail (Grand Floridian & The Contemporary). Both have several restaurants. You will also be able to go to EPCOT via the monorail. EPCOT has a HUGE variety of restaurants.

Unfortunately there is no sit down restaurant in Tomorrowland, although MK does have several sit down restaurants (Liberty Tree Tavern, Tony's Cafe, Cinderella's Royal Table, etc).

I would suggest picking up "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" from Amazon or Barnes & Noble - very useful dining and park touring information.

You will have a great trip!

EA! You rock thanks so much!

S~ Thanks for the info. So would would recommend the unofficial guide? I have seen it at Barnes and Noble and have been tempted to pick it up numerous times.

We were just there not to long ago and I miss all of the wonderful Disney meals.. As far as AK goes- we LOVED Flametree BBQ as a QS.. I am going to be posting pictures of all of our meals on my TR soon but I unfortunately can't seem to find the picture I took of that quick service meal.. I will keep looking!:surfweb:

Are you looking on the Walt Disney World Resort website? I find out so much by looking there under Places To Dine.

I'll put my answers in red in the body of your quote.

Flame Tree is awesome! It's the way to go!

In Epcot... Hmmmm... I have no idea.
I love to eat around the world and sample from various CS countries. Love UKs fish & chips, The bakery in France, The Schwarma platter is Morocco is my fav, the Udon noodle bowl in Japan, a sausage in Germany (or apple stuessel), bakery in Norway. You can use snack credits for some of these items too. You could potentially not even do a TS if using this strategy, but there are MANY wonderful TS in Epcot!

We want to see the Osbourne Lights, so we thought a quick serve that afternoon for lunch would be good.. Any suggestions?
I hear Starring Rolls is the best place in HS. I have not been impressed with anything I've eaten in that park so far.

Since we are at the Poly. I was thinking it would be fun for the older girls and King T and I to go to Ohana's. I thought maybe the older entertainment would be nice. I don't want to do the Luau tho. Also, that would be strategically placed for Princess H can go to Neverland Club.
I beleive your little one is 4, she would enjoy O'Hana as well. Just saying.

Downtown Disney is a place we want to visit.... So we were thinking Rainforest Cafe? Are they on the DD? Or should we do the T-REX and just pay it OOP... that is a thought actually.
Wolfgang Puck Express is an excellent CS there!

We are going for 6 nights and 7 days. We will only use 1 QS on the night we arrive cause it will be late. We will probably not use anything on the day we leave cause we have a 15 hours drive ahead. UNLESS we have snacks left over.

I would highly recommend the 1900 Park Fare dinner. It has been our favorite character meal so far. We liked Akershus too. I say never too many Princess meals!

Is there a cool place to eat in Tomorrowland that is a sit down?
Cosmic Rays is excellent CS with large seating area.

How about in Frontierland?
Pecos Bill is best bet for CS over there.
Only TS in MK is CRT, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern and Tony's.

I recommend either getting an early ADR for the Tusker House character breakfast or eating CS and then going to Animal Kingdom Lodge for Boma (haven't been but I've heard good things) or Animal Kingdom Villas for Sanaa (delicious!!!) As for QS, I personally didn't care for Pizzafari, but my DH and kids liked it. A lot of people like Flame Tree Barbecue. It is on my list as a possibility for our upcoming trip.

In Epcot... Hmmmm... I have no idea.
There are lots of choices. For TS: Coral Reef (big fish tank), Biergarten (oompah band - probably my favorite choice for kids), Akershus (princess meal), Garden Grill (character meal in a revolving restaurant), Marrakesh (belly dancer), Teppan Edo (watch your food get cooked in front of you). As for CS, I actually have never eaten CS at Epcot (we love TS at Epcot), but I've heard good things about Tangieriene Cafe and the Mexican CS in the World Showcase and Sunshine Seasons in future world

We want to see the Osbourne Lights, so we thought a quick serve that afternoon for lunch would be good.. Any suggestions?
CS options are mediocre at Hollywood Studios. For kids, my first pick would be a TS lunch at Sci Fi. You eat in a table like a car and they show film clips. It wasn't my favorite, but lots of people love it and it is really cool for the kids. Also, if you want to pay for a meal OOP, this is a good choice because the lunch menu is pretty affordable if you stick to burgers/sandwiches (the best food there anyway).

Since we are at the Poly. I was thinking it would be fun for the older girls and King T and I to go to Ohana's. I thought maybe the older entertainment would be nice. I don't want to do the Luau tho. Also, that would be strategically placed for Princess H can go to Neverland Club.
I haven't been to 'Ohana but I've heard good things about it. Though it is great for Little Ones too.

Downtown Disney is a place we want to visit.... So we were thinking Rainforest Cafe? Are they on the DD? Or should we do the T-REX and just pay it OOP... that is a thought actually.
Rainforest Cafe is not on the dining plan. You'd have to Pay OOP there, just like TRex. I have been to Raglan Road. The food isn't bad and there's an Irish dancer in the evenings. Raglan Road is on DDP. I've also heard that Wolfgang Puck Exprses is a great use of a CS credit - it's on my list to try during my next trip.

We are going for 6 nights and 7 days. We will only use 1 QS on the night we arrive cause it will be late. We will probably not use anything on the day we leave cause we have a 15 hours drive ahead. UNLESS we have snacks left over.

I'd try to squeeze this one in as either your first breakfast, before you head for the parks. Since you're staying at a monorail resort, that should be easy to do. It's also a good pick for your first dinner, assuming you are going to MK on your first full day.

Questions:

Was thinking about Fare 1900 (is that what it is called)? at the Grand Floridian? But that makes two princess meals? Redundant?
I like to mix it up, but I would think that it's not redundant per se. The only overlap is Cinderella, but at CRT Cinderella is not actually in the restaurant. You just take your picture with her before you are seated. None of the other characters at 1900 Park Fare are actually at CRT.

Is there a cool place to eat in Tomorrowland that is a sit down?
Cosmic Ray's
How about in Frontierland?
Pecos Bills. Columbia Harbour House is also convenient from Frontierland - it's in Liberty Square.

OMG!! I am OVERWHELMED!!!!

Also, I would love to let Princess H go to the Mad Hatters Tea party. But she will just be turning 4. Too grown up for her? Is this on a dining plan or a OOP exspense...
I don't know the answer to this question, though it sounds fun! I don't think it is on the DDP, however.

Goodness.. HELP!:confused3

My responses are in red.

1900 Park Fair was our most favorite character meal when we went in October! I can't recommend enough. Not only did my daughter get to Waltz with Cinderella, but my son got covered in smooches from the Evil Stepsisters. It's simply the best interaction you will get with the characters, lots of personal attention and the buffet was delicious. It was just as entertaining for the adults as it was for the kids. We left with our sides hurting from laughing. The kids still talk about it...

We were least impressed with Askershus when we went for breakfast. Not that there was anything wrong with it but it felt really rushed and since we rushed to get there and stand in line before the park opened, we were just a little let down. Loved 'Ohana for breakfast though...good mix of the characters and the food was delicious.

Hope this helps!
