We're taking advantage of the free dining plan next August. I'm looking for reccomendations for dinner (evening) in the Board Walk area as it's not an area we've visited before and I'd like to have a browse - any reccomendations? We don't 'do' seafood I'm afraid, but other than that quite easily pleased, Kids will be 13 & 15.

We enjoyed eating at Spoodles, but it isn't everybodys choice, very noisy but the food was good. Creme Brulee mmmmm

get the boat over to the yatch and beach club takes like 2 mins, or walk round and try beaches and cream, the kitchen sink dessert.

.....wow..... xx

I second Spoodles we had a fantastic breakfast and lovely service there also definately recommend Y&B Club Gallery and Steakhouse yum

I loved yachtsman steakhouse at the yacht club. we will try spoodles next year though as we are staying in the Boardwalk area.

another one we liked, although you can't do ADR's was ESPN Club,

we sat whilst two guys prattled on about American Football and Baseball for ESPN Radio, although DH managed to find England playing Germany on one of the TV's in the room but the food was fantastic and the portions were huge.

Nachos as a starter, there was enough for a week and DD had chicken wings, don't know what they feed american chickens but they were massive and she got an absolute mountain.

We love the boardwalk area and have eaten at several places -

ESPN - as tashasmum said you cant do ADR's but the food is excellent! If you have any sports fans in the family they will love it! (They even have tv's in the bathrooms!)

Spoodles - we really enjoyed eating here, the atmosphere was really good and the food was lovely!

Yacht Club Galley - The food here was really good and the service was good. I just wasnt excited but this restaurant, it seemed a bit bland?!

Yachtsman Steakhouse - Yum Yum Yum!!! but quite pricy and you need to check the dress code as its a bit more formal.

Big River - i love this restaurant! My personal choice is to get a table outside on the boardwalk, its nice to sit and watch everything go by and you can see the fireworks from epcot if the time is right! Again you cant make ADR's but the food is fab, and its a brewery so if anyone in your family drink beer there are some good choices!

There are also some very good restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin hotels (although some of them are pretty pricy!) - Blue Zoo has a great atmosphere but it has a lot of fish on the menu - we love it but not everyones choice!
