Dining Plan

I booked a one bedroom for us and a one bedroom for another family for a 2017 trip using our points for both rooms. Can the other family purchase the dining plan while we don't?

Just a reminder to those who may not know / remember:

The owner must add & pay for the dining plan for the room that was booked for the other family. That family can reimburse the owner. Some families just purchase gift cards for the amount of the dining plan and the owner then uses those to pay.

Oh, ok, thanks, I forgot about that. It is family that I trust and that we will be traveling with so I don't think there will be a problem.

Shouldn't be. Just let the server know who is using the dining plan and who is paying out-of-pocket.

Should add the DP at least 48 hours before arrival. Your ADR assumption is generally correct. Might be a bit of a hassle for those ADRs that require a credit card guarantee. Not totally sure how those work with a DP.

Did this for CRT about a year ago. Booked CRT, provided CC#. Purchased DP months later. When I got to CRT, they credited the pre-pay back to my CC.
