I am trying to figure out if taking a 14 and 8 year old to Liberty Tree for dinner is a good idea. I am on the dining plan and I need to use 1 more sit down service. We will be having 3 character breakfast and dinner at the Hollywood and Vine for fantasmic, so you see I need help in planning the 5th one:confused3
I appreciate any and all help with this.
Thank you and blessings to you

Do you want to do another character meal or are you just looking to eat dinner in MK? We didn't like the food at Liberty Tree for dinner and haven't returned. We loved both lunch and dinner at the Crystal Palace, which is the character meal buffet with Pooh and friends at MK. If you really aren't looking for another character meal, you could take the monorail over to the Poly from MK to eat at Kona Cafe or Ohana. We loved Kona for dinner but haven't tried Ohana. You could also take the monorail to the Grand Floridian to eat at the Cinderella character meal or the cafe.

I didn't know the Kona cafe had dinner/lunch. I love the Poly, can't afford to stay there, but maybe my little cherubs would like to eat there:thumbsup2
I have several months to decide on this, but when the time comes, I want to be ready with dates for reservations...thank you for your help.
God's blessings be upon you:tink:

Hi noahdove -

I second Kona - great food and my kids love to visit the Poly! In fact, we are going back there in January and adding an Ohana Breakfast!

We've done LTT at least twice in the past and this recent trip, the kids vetoed it. Food is certainly plentiful and passable - like Thanksgiving dinner ?- but way over processed and therefore, salty.

You are doing great planning! Adds to the fun, doesn't it??

we did the dining plan last summer and my boys 14 and 16 loved Kona Cafe.. said it was one of he best meals they had..

Is the Kona Cafe table service? Sounds like something we would want to do. My 14 year old granddaughter has NO idea she is going with me, so what an awesome surprise she will have, agree?
Thank you for your suggestion
Blessings to you

I guess it will be the Kona hands down:) thanks for your awesome suggestions.

Another vote for no LTT. Characters were fun, but the food was our least favorite of all our meals.
Ohana was incredible for dinner! It has Lilo & Stitch for breakfast!
Have you planned for Chef Mickeys? Great food, lots of fun with the characters!
ENJOY!:)

I second Chef Mickeys. My sister and i always go there for her birthday when we are there(shes 37). A couple of years ago we had the very last seating time you could get so the place was almost empty. We asked to have a group shot of the characters and was told this is not allowed. We did we get a surprise we were the last table there and all of the characters just showed up and she got her picture with all of them together. I think it was the highlight of her bday.:cloud9:

Ohanas is great for dinner if you don't want characters. Plentiful yummy food and fun for the 8 year old too. Coconut races! It is a must do for us every trip.
