Okay I just finished making all my reservations for Disney. I ended up getting the regular dining packing that includes (what appears to be) one lunch, dinner & snack... I didn't realize there was no breakfast in this...

Then I noticed that if I go to any restaurant that has a show that I have to give up an extra point of somesort??? i don't get it..

I am thinking I should get the premium package... It looks like i get three meals a day and snack. i would care if it were only me and my dh but with three kids i have to feed the.

What do you guys think?:confused3 :confused3

Well from what I understand the premium package is much more expensive.... much, much more$$$
What most people do is either pay our of pocket for a less expensive meal in the day ie. breakfast.. or bring some breakfast type food from home.
As for the 2 credit TS meals.. well it depends on if you feel they are necessary.. then again many people are paying out of pocket as well

Okay.. I guess I will just stick with what i have.... You would think with all the money you are already paying they would cover all three... ya know

Actually, it's not lunch and dinner.

It's a counter service meal and a table service meal. You can use them whenever you want.

It sounds like you should read the threads at the top of this board. It should help you a lot. Good luck.

If you look at the price of some of the table service meals you will find the price is actually quite good. You can spend more than the daily cost of the dining plan just at the table service meal.:)

Yep!

We're not big breakfast people here, so we usually paid OOP for that at the resort and use the CS and TS credits for lunch and dinner respectively.

we found we couldn't eat three meals a day on the DDP. We'd split a breakfast (the big platters have eggs, home fries, pancakes, a meat and a biscuit) between 2 of us and do the same for lunch. Also, we were able to get 1/2 gal of OJ and a dozen Entemanns Donuts for 1 snack credit each. Often ate these for a light breakfast (along with, I'm not ashamed to admit, the previous night's dessert!!) Then we'd all get our own dinners. You can't imagine how much food you get on the DDP until you experience it. You'll be fine!! Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

And with three meals a day many felt like their trip revolved around their dining plans.
DDP is a good deal. For what you are paying per person you will get a lot of food. As it stands the guest comes out benefiting monetarily with the DDP.
