Any suggestions of restaurants to definitely go to when I am in WDW. I am going with my two small children (2&5). We are on the dining plan. Any restaurants to AVOID....

Well, lets get you started - check out the menus at allearsnet.com!! Here is where we are going this trip:
KONA(poly)
San Angel(EPCOT)
Flying Fish(Boardwalk)
LeCellier(EPCOT)
Calif. Grill (Contemp)
Spoodles(Boardwalk)

However we don't have small children, so hopefully you'll get help from those who do!! At the parks for CS:

MK - Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bills, Columbia Harbour House
EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons
AK - Flame Tree, Tusker House
MGM - Backlot Express

Hope this gets you going!!

There are really no restaurants at WDW that are kid un-friendly except maybe V&A. The real question is what will your kids enjoy.

I'd go for character and theme stuff with young kids. The characters are very good about being sensitive if the little one is frightened of them. 1900 Park Fare had primarily face characters (princesses, prince charming) so that they look like people. Yes, the mice are there too. Some little ones love the characters, others are a bit skittish.

50s Prime TIme is another fun place for kids. WCC is fun, but we didn't care for the food.

Really, WDW is a wonderful place for kids--they are welcome everywhere.

Crystal Palace at MK with Pooh characters is my favortie breakfast...definitely reccomend!

Also Ohana is a great dinner option, your kids will love it...everything is served family style where they bring big plates of everything and bring seconds as you need/request them...also they get the kids involved in a couple activities during dinner.

I'd also recommed the Fantasmic Dining Package at Mama Melrose...good italian food and you get reserved seating at the fantasmic show so you do not have to wait in line as long.

Like the previous poster said there really aren't any restaurants besides V&A that aren't kid friendly. Two of our favorite meals last time were Le Cellier and California Grill

Avoid Boma, unless your kids like exotic things like kus kus and calamari.. :goodvibes
