dining plan with dvc

I was just reading on the dvc site about the dining plan - it sounds like they are giving people vouchers for the meals on the regular plan - do they do this with dvc or take it right off your room key?

The plans are identical, both use electronic credits encoded on the room key. The DVC plan is stand alone whereas the regular resort plan is part of a package requiring you to purchase a park ticket.

so if you don't use them up do they just expire on the day you check out?

Yes, they expire at midnight on your check-out day.
