Dining plan with airline employee discount

I just tried to add the dining plan on to my reservation for our upcoming trip to WDW and was told I could not because we were getting a discount on our reservation because my husband is an airline employee. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I wanted to use the plan so I wouldn't have to carry alot of cash on the trip for meals. Any other suggestions on this?

My husband is an airline employee and I tried everything to get our room discount and add the MYW Dining package on to our reservation. Nothing worked. Disney does not want to allow this. I crunched all the numbers and we decided that for our family we would stay at PoP and pay rack rates. I actually used a carlson wagonlit travel agent and got some extras like lanyards, autograph books, memory books and 75 disney dollars. Can you believe it, I actually used a non interline travel agency!! My husband is going crazy! Good luck and have a fun trip!
